Lidl one says nothing about being 4K

I have the 1080p version and I had the 32" version before that, both been reliable TV's with decent picture for the price.
Yep, the Lidl one is "Full HD" which is 1920 x 1080 (1080p) whereas this one is Ultra HD (4k) is 3840 x 2160 (2160p).

You are better off focusing on the type of tuner the TV has. For instance, the one featured on this page had Freeview HD so you can get Full HD channels but not 4k channels (I am prepared to be corrected on this point) wheras the Lidl version has Freeview Play which only has access to 15 HD channels which means that non-HD channels may look 'blocky'.

Fancier models have upscaling which takes a low resolution picture and adds more resolution but that tech is not cheap so you get what you pay for.

However, if you are using the TV for catch-up using an app or an Amazon Fire stick/TV, you can usually watch most things in HD. It's not magic though, re-runs of Blake's 7 will still be poor quality which is just as well given the hammy acting (I still love it though!)
