This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Been this price a few times and now it is again, think 60 inches is a good size and not many about.

Panel should be decent if it's made by Sharp, software is not so good on these but with 5 year guarantee maybe worth a punt with the 5 year guarantee and 90 day return policy.

UPDATE: A review of one of the other Sharp TVs on the Costco site says that motion smoothing/ soap opera effect can't be turned off, which is pretty stupid.

UPDATE 2: It may be possible to do it via the service menu.

Wouldn't recommend sharp. 55'' led 4k set we have freezes on almost every app randomly n becomes totally unusable, need to take the plug out n back in. Sometimes when you do this it then stops the wifi from working so you need to do a hard reset.

Never again!
Yes there have been reports of poor build quality/ buggy software, certainly wouldn't buy one without the 5 year warranty as some people say they only last 2 years.

Sharp/ Foxconn have taken over UMC now though so quality should be improving.

TV is made by UMC, so who knows what panel is inside.

Not many manufacturers make 60 inch panels.

When Samsung sold 60 inch TVs they used Sharp panels so I would think these are genuine Sharp ones, this is their flagship model in Europe too (despite having only 60Hz refresh rate so it's relative).

Is it just the back, or the entire TV that you get for £449?

Asking cause I recently bought a monitor at £999, and discovered I only got the stand for that price!

But it’s the best stand yet. 66% faster than last years
Just been looking at a YouTube video and Sharp Aquos Net+ is very basic, you need a Firestick or Roku stick I think.

Very basic customisation options as well, you should be able to turn motion smoothing off without having to go into the service menu.

But I guess this is why these TVs are cheap compared to LG/ Samsung/ Sony/ Panasonic which have lots of customisation options available for picture and sound.

UMC who make these TVs also make Akai, Alba, Blaupunkt, Bush, Goodmans, JMB, Logix, Technika and Tevion TVs so very much the budget end, not like the old Sharp Quattron, but the panels may well still be Sharp, but can you live with the cheapness of the rest of the set?

Probably flattened vegetables sandwiched between two sheets of glass!

I don't think the panel is a problem, pretty sure that will be a Sharp as only them and LG make 60 inch panels as far as I know and it's not going to be an LG. Sharp panels are VA so better than the LG IPS panels in most ways except viewing angle.

It's the other things that may be a problem; build quality, software, processing power etc.

But with a 5 year warranty and a 90 day return with Costco I think it's worth a chance.

Agreed mate, I was only having a joke, but to the poor customers experiencing these issues can't be too thrilled

I think I've mentioned the potential downsides as well here though.

Sharp/ Toshiba I wouldn't buy without a 5 year warranty.
