Not keen on Sharp and price not fantastic when you can get a Sony 40" 1080 HD LCD with freeview for £899.99! Having said that, it's always worth posting what you think is a good deal as others may agree (just not me, this time)

Excellent set with full 1080p at an excellent price - paid £1125 for mine at the beginning of the year.

The LG 42" deal just posted is better !!

It is a nice set, I had many problems with two different ones however, as have many others. There's a thread on avforums about it.

These sets suffer from vertical banding. I have attached a piccy I took of one of my faulty sets - look at the left and right sides of the picture.
