cheap. I bought 40" for £239 but with club card.
Not bad for a 49" UMC.
ok tv, good price
Almost certainly not a real Sharp TV. £250 isnt bad for a 49" mind.

Is the pic quality any good to Sony Tvs
Nearly purchased, read reviews first!
Anyone know how many Hz?
wow
Can find any reviews... Do you mean Tesco reviews?
Does it have/support wireless connection?
Sorely tempted at this price, as it must be an improvement on my 7 yr old Sony Full HD

Current models are from the old UMC license deal though. Hisense models due later this year which should be decent TV's
Looks like a steal!
Some concerning reviews but at £249 it has to be considered hot for 49".

Ummm.......no.
How do I read the reviews? I can see the three stars, and when I click on them it takes me to sponsored links at the bottom of the page. Is this worth £249 regardless of the reviews?
I know sharp no longer make TVs but for this price I've just purchased one.planning to have for a few years until more advanced tvs come down in price.bargain bargain bargain.

Yes it is a bargain so long as you're not expecting a brilliant picture or anything. That tends to be what swings it for me in the TV department.
Great price for the amount of tv!
I'm expecting brilliant quality viewing,I've got a cheap led in bedroom,no problems a step up from my 5 year old lg plasma 50 inch I'm guessing back then at a cost of £800.
whats makes it £50 more than the this?

Brand? I have just purchased this TV and I will feel better knowing it is a Sharp tv as opposed to a Digihome tv.

The name Sharp! Plus the smart feature which doesn't get good reviews at the moment. The update might fix that though.

I bought the Digihome earlier this afternoon as I have a Youview box

I wouldn't class UMC or vestel TV's as generally the most reliable...but at this price that's to be expected as not a huge R&D budget goes into them.
