This has been posted on the forus loads of times as a filler to get your shopping over £50, £100 etc to qualify for vouchers.

Ive always wondered why shavers dont just come with 3 pin - is there a technical reason why not and if there is how come we havent overcome this barrier????? Every other device we use comes complete - why wont the shavers conform? :?

The idea I believe is to stop you using higher amperage items in the bathroom and electrocuting yourself:p

razors are internally insulated against electrical leakage to the outside casing it is normal to have only two pins, live and neutral with no earth as its not needed.;-)
