Shell - 5p off per litre off V-Power Nitro + Unleaded & Diesel

Shell - 5p off per liter off V-Power Nitro + Unleaded & Diesel. Just download the voucher off the Barclaycard Bespoke offers website.

It might be a bit more expensive than the standard shell version or the supermarket version but It'll help you save a couple of quid if you regularly fill up with the premium fuel or if you fancy giving your car a little treat!

It's not as good as the 10p off offer posted a couple of weeks ago but that was for specific stations and was hard to find the offer.

Is this for Barclaycard customers only??

no you don't have to be a barclaycard customer, just register with bespoke. however i imagine you'll be bombarded by barclaycard.

another tip about this deal, is that when you get to the service station to claim your 5p off a litre, tell the cashier just to scan the barcode in. Every time i went to pay, they would get out the calculator to work out the new total, but just scanning the barcode works.

Can you just print multiples and use them or do you need to download it multiple times? Is it the same barcode?

it's the same voucher, just print it off as many times as you like, as the cashier retains the voucher.

I printed multiples of the same bar code on the last offer. For some reason they keep the piece of paper after you've used it despite it being the same bar code!

Check a map before filling. Some of the Shell stations cannot accept this offer. Discount is only for first 50 liters. After this amount normal price shows up.

Maybe for their audit purposes

thanks - saved me a couple of quid

Cheers, was going to fill up with this anyway.

What's the advantage of this hi grade fuel?

Internet explorer stops working everytime I try to print. Anyone else had this?

Can it definitely be used on standard unleaded?

ia this fuel appropriate for a Mercedes c200 cdi 2002?

Yes, as long as you use the Diesel

I wonder if the 10p off V-Power still available? And if yes, can this be used in conjuction?

Thanks...

No you need 4 star.

Would it make more sense, if someone uploaded their voucher, so others didnt have to sign up?

Already used this twice, saved £6 on two fillups- every little helps!

What's the advantage of this hi grade fuel?

Basically it has been refined differently than normal unleaded fuel, over a period of time it can improve the efficiency of your engine. Just filling as a one off or occasionally will make little or no difference whatever. Certainly wont harm your engine and if it works out a penny or 2 cheaper than normal unleaded worth printing out the voucher.

4star - what do you mean by I need 4 star. JollyEngland already confirmed the fuel is appropriate for the car.

Oh.. Thanks Ali...

It's higher octane (99RON) and has better quality additives to help keep your engine cleaner. You get marginal mpg benefits depending on how you drive and your car. For me, I get about 2 or 3 mpg more from a tank of this than 95RON (VTEC engine, 2010 car)

I filled up with V-Power Nitro + Diesel the other week. I didn't notice any significant increase in power and I had slight increase in MPG, my car is only a 1.6 89 BHP though so I really wasn't expecting a lot! It claims to treat your engine better so I think it was worth the extra 3p a liter (after the voucher) for me

Interesting. I have had printing issues before too. Try to use a different browser. Firefox is so much better anyway.

Not a bad offer but not worth me driving the extra 10-11 miles just to save 1p, since the Shell garage is 4p more expensive than my nearest 2 garages.

How did you manage to quantify the 2-3 mpg difference? oO

4star was trying to be funny. Just ignore him, the Vpower Nitro diesel will be fine in your car.

used one t'other day that expires at the end of May. Saved about £1.50

Vpower diesel is not worth it what so ever. Vpower unleaded is worth it.

Yes it is.

Cleaners and boosters. Means no clogged EGR valves and no carbon build up on the turbo fins.

Heated - Thanks OP

Word of warning, make sure your printout is of good enough quality. Filled my car up today and the scanner refused to accept my print and they were unable to manually enter the code so I ended up paying full whack. Not happy!
