Although I have seen far too many petrol "deals" posted

It looks like there is no need to rush out and fill up as my local shell is 99.9p/litre for unleaded as well!

Just wish the V Power went back to this

£99.90 per litre that must be the most expensive in the world!

It's the same price in Milton Keynes too because Shell tend to price match supermarkets - namely Asda and Morrison's

wouldn't expect anything else around the Poorthorns.

expect it to be there or there abouts at all filling stations soon. Anyone know if shell are to run the free MPH show competition again this year, im sure it was about the same time last year and was great fun

ZOMG!!! BP is now this price tooooooooo!

Thought the West Bromwich area was reasonably normal - but obviously a playboy's paradise when you think £99.9 for a litre of petrol is a bargain:w00t:

Hmmm....now seen as the price of oil per barrel has fallen lets see..around 30% but the price at the pumps has only gone down say 10% tops? Why isnt it going down further!!!!

shall we post every petrol station that sells 99.9p around the country as a deal then?!.............................. my contribution is morrisons and asda in cardiff are both 99.9p a litre for petrol

The dollar to pound has gone from $2/£1 to $1.7/£1, so overall the cost to us isn't that big

Can't see the logic - oil is traded in dollars, so as the dollar has risen against the pound we pay more for a barrel.
ie currently $70 dollars a barrel - we pay £41 rather than £35.

West Brom is normal compared to Dingle country !

When it was $150 a barrel at $2/£1 that was £75, but now at £100 a barrel at $1.6/£1 it is £62.50, so although we have seen a big decrease in dollar price, the pound price hasn't fallen as much
