Hospital sent a message this morning that this virus seems to be spreading quickly via petrol pumps so have asked to tell everyone to wear gloves or use a paper towel when filling up and dispose of straight away -please share -thanks

For Shell this is a good on them, but seriously all the petrol companies need to stop being greedy and drop their damn prices already like Costco did.
My local diesel is still £124.9 @ Shell, the oil price has halved but the price @ the pumps has only dropped 2p ... utter joke ... 😡

Must be a lot of petrol going spare now that car journeys have dropped significantly.

They never have any plastic gloves at my local, when I'm driving a diesel I hate filling up, for some reason the handles are always full of diesel and crap. Petrol pumps sometimes smell but are normally a lot better than diesel.
You could fill up and pop to the toilet, all Shells have one for customers, just fill up wash your hands then pay
Wow, 😳I paid 119 yesterday in a Hertfordshire Shell!! Bookhead crass tards. 😏
wow, haven't seen fuel at nearly £1 in like two decades

Calm down children

That photo in the news of someone stockpiling baby formula was a disgrace. It'll be past its use by date before she gets through it all.

The simple fact is - if people just did their usual shop, or even a Xmas size shop there would be plenty to go around.

Low IQ knuckle draggers just lose their heads sometimes.

Hopefully they're not that stupid. With less travel there should be an over stock if anything

The saying is "don't hate the player" however, a bit weird to use the saying in the current climate don't you think?
"Changes to Waitrose Petrol Station

We take the wellbeing of our customers and Partners very seriously. From Sunday 23rd March we will serve you through our night hatch in order to minimise contact.

We will still have a limited range of goods available which our Partner will be more than happy to select for you upon request.

Thank you for your patience and understanding."
A week or two it was that "be kind" due to some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz-list "celeb" topping herself, and now it's "f&*£ you all!"
Shell 119.9
Tesco (next road down) 114.9

Which would you recommend?
Oil prices couldn’t be agreed soon as I’m aware hence there was a massive slide in the markets then we had the virus which plummeted stocks to the lows!

It's interesting how people like you have nothing better to do but to post something like that. There's a big wide world out there you know. Put your phone down and have a wander out into it

Please explain how I'm selfish??? Nothing I've said on this thread is selfish, quite the opposite in fact.

Petrol evaporates, diesel doesn't..
£1.15 at Tesco tonight.
Lowest I've seen with me is £1.14 at Asda.

Some of the shell stations in Manchester are up to 10p/litre more than that still.
Probably not as bad as some motorway services the other day that were a good 30-40p/litre more.
Was still £1.38 for V-Power at my local
Bring in ration books for everything, that will stop bulk buyers.
Still waiting for home heating oil to collapse, it's gone up in price significantly when it should have pretty much halved in price. The price gouging is ridiculous but as we are coming into summer I can't believe those prices can be maintained for long, and don't really understand who is panic buying it really.
Wtf! Still paying £1.19 / £1.21 for unleaded
