Since their original release, Shenmue I & II have established a passionate following and are revered as one of gaming’s greatest series of all time. These revolutionary masterpieces deliver a gripping story of retribution as Ryo Hazuki sets out to avenge his father’s death and attempts to unravel the secrets behind a mysterious artefact known as the Dragon Mirror.

Shenmue I & II comes complete with the original feature set that defined modern gaming, including enthralling jujitsu combat, investigative sleuthing, and RPG elements in addition to memorable mini-games. Shenmue I & II is set within engrossing real-time open worlds that feel truly alive thanks to day-to-night cycles and weather changes, with a population of civilians who follow their own schedules.

This is the definitive version of these all-time classics and will be the best Shenmue experience to date. The re-release will stay true to the originals with modernised features including fully scalable screen resolution, choice of modern or classic control schemes, PC graphics options, an updated user interface and the option to enjoy either the original Japanese or English voiceovers.

I've not got Gamepass...I've got Gamepass Ultimate

I can't be the only one that memory holed Shenmue as dull, can I?
Think I was 19 when it came out and working Goods In at an Index DC... driving a counterbalance FLT.
Our clique at the time was all stoner gaming nerds.

You cannot imagine the moment of clarity that goes with sitting in a mate's bedroom, surrounded by bros monging at the screen, while you pretend to drive a fork lift truck for a day job... knowing come Monday I'd be doing the exact same thing.

Anyway, by the by, they're also on Game Pass if anyone's interested in that route.
Physical copies of this may now aswell join E.T. 🙈

How many tokens for Ultimate Game Pass?

I actually thought you'd have surfaced in the GP post, where I've just been asked if games can be played after their removal. Safe to say, I responded a tad differently

If you think that's daft, one of those bros once told me he would play Need For Speed (the one with police stingers in) on the PS1 and just pretend it was his car, driving 'properly', going round, picking up his pretend girlfriend/shopping/garage.
We were like 19...
I loved the lad but he had his quirks, like leaning in to sniff your fart before recoiling and wrinkling his nose; telling you ya stink.
His cheese never did sit straight on his cracker.
Good price at £13 but truthfully, it's what it should have been at from the start. Fantastic game in the early 2000s but has not aged well. Looking forward to Shenmue 3 however
