Will these fit a Mark 2 Cortina?

Yes. You'd need a great deal of spit, blue tack, luck and some nails.

Just waiting for the Halfords/Argos/Littlewoods Catalogue brigade now to turn round and say "you can get a full suspension mountain bike for that price" lol.

You can get a full Mark 2 Cortina for that price!

You might have to get new discs for these wheels, depending on what fitment you already have. Notice these are Centre Lock disc mount, rather than 6 bolt.

For £79.99 I expect to get a whole bike! And you want me to spend even more money on discs!

You'd also be fitter since you'd spend most of your time pushing the damned thing! LOL

I have been looking around to upgrade my brakes to disk brakes as my bike has IS mounts.

However, this will be the first time i am upgrading it and wonder what else i would need to buy to complete the upgrade?

Any recommendations to go with MT15 above?

Thanks... h&r

I've not fitted them yet but I'll let you know. I don't really anticipate a problem.

As read, they're centre lock not 6 bolt. I have centre lock to 6 bolt adapters so no issue for me. These can be bought from ebay for as little as a fiver or from Jenson USA (origin8) for 7.99.

How do i know if centre lock or 6 bolt is good for my bike? If the wheels are centre lock, how will i know whether they will fir my bike or not?

Well, i am buying these and i just need to know what other parts i need to fit them in! I broke my ankle so i cant use the bike for another 2-3 months but i want to sort it in the mean time so its ready when i recover...

Centre lock is how the brake fits the wheel so you'll need a compatible brake disc (cventre lock disc brake) and a compatible brake system. I'd recommend checking Bike radar for more thorough assistance.

Finally fitted these wheels. They look superb and my bike is lighter. My last wheels were annhialated (overuse and poor maintenance) and it's nice to have a pair running true now. Very happy with my buy.
