Great deal. I paid nearly £100 for an m6100 derailleur and xt shifter a few months ago.

Not sure I can recommend Merlin now. I had a derailleur fail and they have been ignoring my emails for months. I gave up and sent it to them with a cover note. It's been delivered and signed for but not heard from them.

Got 2 slx mechs, can't be bothered to replace my xt for 30 odd grams...

The xt shifter makes all the difference!

Only other real difference is xt derailleur has bearings instead of bushes in the pulleys, but I'm with you not worth it for the weight for most people. In fact, when I damaged my SLX mech I replaced it with a Deore, that with the XT shifter is great

They also have a litre of Fenwicks FS1 bike cleaner concentrate for £7 which is a very good price. When diluted it gives 11 litres of cleaner.

never too sure on something that claims to be a cleaner and a degreaser - but assuming you are using it for the later seems to be a lot of positive comments in forums for this No Nonsense Heavy Duty Degreaser 5Ltr | Degreaser | Screwfix.com
