Another chainreaction 'flood damage' sale item, seems a good price for a decent spd pedal.

hiya,
a bit off topic but i got pedals similar to ]these on my ridgeback speed bike. i was just wondering if they are worth any money selling it through here or ebay? thanks

For just £20 more you can get a whole bicycle with pedals just as good as these from Halfords !! Cold from me.

Pretty decent price, but they dont come with cleats - Ok if you already have then but if theyre your first SPDs youll have to fork out for them extra

They'll certainly be worth something (I'd guess a minimum of £15 if they are unused) - Shimano make several models of road pedals that look very similar but vary in weight/quality (the Ultegra ones that you pictured would fetch more) - stick them on eBay with decent photos and a low start price and see how you go.....

Looks like these have sold out now, anyway its worth noting that they came without cleats. I like to keep pedals and cleats matched, as once had an interesting experience with new cleats and worn pedals.

I personally rate shimano pedals have put 30k miles on a pair of entry level 515s with minimal maintenance and they are still going strong. Also got a pair of 520s on my weekend bike.

cold from me i'm afrais - look on the bay that is E for deals on M520 and M540 models - there is a UK there doing BIN for £17 something all in for M520 I think - great deal with cleats too.

M520 not M540, quite a difference:thumbsup:
