I quit school and became a ninja thanks to this game! Can't thank Sega enough!
Wow memories
I quit school and joined the Neo Zeed organisation, I've done some bad things. And, i really regret not getting some A-levels. Just think carefully before being influenced by this life altering game.

I bought this at full price 3 weeks ago!
Anyway, I was going to say, sometimes its worth getting again as these days Sega ports the actual arcade version across as opposed to a limited console version.
To give an example, I've always enjoyed the Sega MegaDrive version of Golden Axe as it has the extra levels behind the door after getting to the end. And this is the version in all the Sega Megadrive compilations. However, recently I purchased the Sega Vintage Collection: Golden Axe which has all three Golden Axes which are arcade ports. Whilst I don't get the extra level behind the door with Golden Axe, the game plays better as an arcade version and its harder as the arcade version was.
Looks like they’ve chopped the price
Absolute classic
Been a long time since I played this, thanks for posting
As an aside, anyone know if this classic version was ever available on the PS2 or Wii (or Choplifter for that matter) as I have a couple of old consoles that I'd love to show my boy on? Cheers
Awesome game, gave up my life as a monk and became a Ninja.
After school Arcade memories.
My mates dad had a pub and this was in there. After school we used to go up and put free credits on and play until the pub re opened as it was before all day opening.
I don't even have an Xbox but when I saw the name shinobi I just had to give heat.game of my childhood.oh yeah.
Heat for the master system cover.
Bloody loved this game in the Sega Master System back in the day, cracking price for childhood memories

I've never completed this game. I can get to the last level fairly easily but can't defeat the last boss. I grew up in arcades and still love playing games today.
Bought it. Thanks.

Played this the other day in the arcade. Amazed how hard it is
My first ever game on any system! Was ninja mad as a kid and had this on the master system.

The follow up on megadrive was even better.... Revenge of Shinobi. The graphics were simply amazing on the sequel.

Someone mentioned phoenix earlier.....funny enough was just playing it in my local arcade haha. Tough game!!!
