This looks good, how many bikes to you suppose you could fit in there?

Looks pretty deep, I would say 3 going off the pic if its accurate.

Maybe 4...

I would say that you could only fit 2 bikes in there really. Remember that the pedals stick out much further than where the tyres are placed, and from that picture I don't think you woud get them much closer. The one furthest away is being held away from side of shed by it's pedals, and the one next to it would be right up against the door. You might slot a child's bike in the middle perhaps..

Thanks for the post, just what I need for my son's mountain bikes

Not really rocket science stuff is it this one is it 2'4" (700mm) depth, most handle bars are 600mm and wider so in a nut shell 2 adult type bikes.

If you are willing to undo the steerer (handle bars) every time and twist it at 90 degree's then you may get 3 bikes in as pedals will interlock between each other :?

Handlebars can overlap too! Or put bikes in opposite ways round.

PS What's 'rock science' - something to do with music?

"It's constucted from shiplap, not the cheap overlap alternative."

I think that is the cheap overlap stuff. Maybe you were thinking of 'tongue and groove'?

Checked site - It is tongue and groove! OP not doing the product any favours there!

It would make a good wood store from the looks of it

"Read the other reviews and nearly didn't buy it. Went to store and found that most of the packs had been damaged and the plastic wrapping was ripped making the wood extremely wet Eventually I found one undamaged at the bottom of the pile. Instructions are not brilliant but if you read them a few times sense can be made of them and I put the shed together quite easily. The roof is made of very low quality sterling /chip board which flakes quite easily. The felt nails are too short for this type of wood and I used slightly longer ones. The quality is ok but it is bare wood and needs a coat of preservative which it tells you to do in the instructions. I would say the main problem is the way it is stored and provided you find one still in it's shrink wrap it should be ok. I would upgrade the roof to mdf though."

Look at the picture....the 2 bikes are positioned facing in opposite directions, so there is one set of handlebars at each end....It's a 2 adult bike shed,

15% voucher instore only yes?

The reviews on the B&Q website slate it, probably worth getting some wood in and building one from scratch!

I was responding to Hoppie's method of assessing width which assumed they went handlebar to handlebar without overlap.

Not worth the debate though - everything suggests it's a pretty hopeless product.

I've got one and it does only hold 2 adult bikes, you could squeeze in another kids bike maybe , but that would be it.

Again the roof could be a lot stronger and it wouldn't hold the weight of a crow, but for a bike shed it's OK , I got it for £60 with some vouchers I had and it's worth £60 , Ohh also I would store valuble bikes in it, as one good pull could rip the doors off .

Hope this helps...

Before I assemble mine I'm going to treat the wood, I'm also going to make a floor similar to a shed to keep it dry, I'll also bolt on the hinges and lock like you have to with any shed....But hey, decent size storage for £85.00!!

I agree with earlier post about B & Q, can't believe they're not under shelter, mine was a bit damp....:?

i went instore Glasgow branch (Darnley) came up £99 pounds
