I bought one earlier with red and green pattern for £20 more.
You can get it £10 cheaper on their ebay store using the 20% (£300 on eBay before discount
Good lid.
Its how I get all my helmets, wait for the born agains to buy them at silly money , then they give up, cheap as chips then on Ebay , currently rocking a £20 shoei , bought for his wife worn once...

And before anyone say you should not buy used helmets as you dont know if they have been dropped etc......I am a klutz and will drop any helmet after a few days so might as well save some dosh...

Not sure buying second hand lids is a very good idea. It could be counterfeit or been binned/dropped.
Tempted. Got an almost brand new Schuberth and the wind noise is horrendous in it. Order a skirt thing for round the bottom to see if it solves it.

That's odd, my schuberth is the quietest lid I've ever owned. I've got the SR1 and I don't use the chin skirt with mine.

Tell me about it, they have a great rep. Its the s2 I have. Theres a split in the inside padding right level with your ears and I’m sure its the wind catching there

"Motorcycle riding is the most intense way to experience your own movement."

Really? I think jumping out of a plane hoping a parachute will keep you alive is probably more intense way of sensing your movement hurtling at terminal velocity towards the ground.

Now if you jump out of a plane on a motorbike with a parachute on it, you have my attention.
This is perfect for me. My 2012 GT-Air is getting a bit tired and this colour scheme fits with my HRC Fireblade.
Sharp rated 3, which is somewhat mediocre.

You would have to be insane to do that - have you seen the price of motorbikes these days

Taking the parachute off the person and strapping it to the bike and then pushing both out the plane separately would be far more interesting and more economical

Bad deal, helmets arent necessary and are just a con by the big motorcycle industry to get you to buy more helmets and gear, you think if you fall off your bike at 90mph you want to survive it? no chance.

Im sticking to my 250cc powerhorse and baseball cap.

Troll? If I dropped a helmet I'd replace it, unless it landed on a bouncy castle?? If I dropped one every few days I'd just give up riding or stick to those cheap Aldi/Lidl lids.

Not dropped a helmet (ooh errr) once in 8 years, touch wood (and again). You must have the hands of a drunken jellyfish vigorously coated in essential oils.

Yep lol, its weird I am an absolute clutz but as soon as I am on a bike I am fine, been like that since I started riding 40 years ago....

I was working in the trade most of the 90,s and saw the rise of the cost of "bike gear" from a few quid as essential protection to silly money for "ooooh pretty",,,,,, and the reps loved it as the mark up was and still is massive.

But to be serious I always use a helmet, but have lost too many mates to think they will do much good if you hit something, I lost the front end of my GSXR1100K on a 130mph sweeper (private road officer) and the bike took the top 6 foot out of a telephone pole and landed a field over in 2 parts but I walked away with minorish cuts because I slid down the road, but I still have the scar on my shoulder where the road ground thru my leather and my helmet was the same , they did all that could be expected mitigating my injuries but a few months later a nice young lad (customer of ours) was killed (riding my old GPz900 as it happened), he was doing 30mph got clipped by an old duffer reversing out of his drive and his head hit the kerb , as simple as that.

And if you want to get really serious look up "Risk Compensation" it will really open your eyes to the dangers of putting your faith in helmets leathers etc.

Save your money buy a decent "budget" helmet and get yourself on an advanced riding course with the difference , that will definitely save your life at some stage...

It's a like a knock off Doohan lid from the late 80s/early 90s or something.

Just buy all your gear black. It's the only way to get round the problem. I've just got a new bike and my red leathers look vile next to a sort of turquoise colour. Black leathers next time.

Something I just stumbled across recently is the DVLA have launched an advanced rider scheme and some councils are offering discounts to do the assessment as part of their road safety initiatives......

That’s a great price but this lid has an inherent fault. Whistles from the left side of the visor at 50 plus.
The tiniest amount of pressure from your finger will stop it but no amount of adjustment or replacing parts will solve it.
Mine went back 6 times to be modified, google GT Air whistle you’ll see what I mean.
They don’t all do it but if yours does it’s never getting fixed.
Voted hot as it is a good deal, but I stayed with Arai.

Mine whistles a bit, but not really bothers me. Used to much louder lids.
