I understand perfectly thankyou, first time I've ever voted based on anything else in fact. However the op seems to be as much of a tool as you obviously are.

boltyboy

Yeah and he gets £132,000 for playing football!!!!!! It's just not right, its not like he or any footballer has a skill that can help people, like a doctor or someone like that.

LordWard

It was my impression that footballers get taxed around 40% of their wages which goes to the government and then round the houses and then eventually back into the UK economy which in turns helps out the public get out of a recession? So if we take Yaya Toure's weekly wage of £220,000 p/w and subtract 40% from it, the government gets £88,000 p/w just from Toure which will help everyone. LW

Just got off the phone with City about this Only downside of this is that they will allocate your seats ie you could be anywhere – although the lass said that it is almost certain that we will not be with the nutters in the South stand as they often get sold straight away If say for example three friends wanted to sit together then if one of them bought the three tickets then you would all be sitting together. If the three friends all bought at different times then you wouldn’t be sitting together. Available to purchase from 8th May

dayman76

I could get one of these, pay for 18 train journeys to Manchester and still save about £100 compared with getting a Leeds season ticket, which will be at LEAST £510 (probably £550) Even the regular prices at Man City show what mugs Leeds fans are being taken for. £250! It beggar's belief. It will cost at least £200 to buy a child a seat in Leeds' Family Stand (at least £260-£440 in non family areas)

bond.e.lad

some prices are good,, but dont trust gary(the chin) cook,,under 11s tickets which were £95-00 in all parts of the ground are now £140-00 if you sit anywhere else other than the family stand,, so in real terms (as the government say),, thats 99% of the kids now paying the increase????? ctid.

I'm not a particularly big City fan, but these are really smart strips, simplicity is best. Might buy one just in case I see that guy in the pub again who is a 'diehard' Man U fan and best displays this by referring to City as 'Shity' at every given opportunity. You're 24, give up.

United are in debt, but are still the most profitable club in the Premier League and probably second in the world to Real Madrid. So a bit of a fail on your behalf there stating false nonsense.

There is also something you forgot to add there!!!! FFS Man City are the only ones making profit :) Both Man Utd (tutz tutz) and Chelsea (not to mention ****'Nil) are not making profit and are debt ridden sleaze

I've always seen City as a kind of pension club for players in the autumn of their careers. Look at all the old warhorses who have secured their finances there. There is something rotten at the heart of City, and no amount of Arab money is going to sort that, United will always be the Manchester team,City are just an irritating distraction. Fans are amongst the most bitter in the game too, second only to Leeds.

Because the new manager wants his own team. The players leaving are surplus to requirement. Caldwell's a dumpling and is out of contract in the Summer, Robson was always only a squad player and wouldn't get a game when everyone else was fit. Flood and Killen have hardly kicked a ball in the last year. They're certainly not being shipped out due to money, getting rid of those 4 for £1m and replacing them with 1 £2m centre half confirms that. In the 2009 financial report our debt was listed as £1.5m. Absolutely nothing in footballing terms.

And how far are Moss and Stretford from the town centre? Hmm! Talk about loyalty - money buys you nothing but a fancy stadium you can't fill and mercenaries who don't have a care for the lack of history. United have never moved their stadium, only ever borrowed one (and from yours truly).

Man City have always treated their fans well and they get good gates because of it. I remember when they were relegated to the third, they had season tickets for a hundred quid and my Man City supporting friends were loving it. Big gates, winning matches, cheap as chips to get in Even to this day you can get a City season ticket for just over 400 in a spanking new stadium, which the rest of the country footed the majority of the bill (77m) to build, and a team of superstars bought for them by an Arab millionaire and they're STILL dragging them in off the streets They really are the jammiest set of fans around. I'm surprised they always sound so miserable on the radio
