I'm surprised these haven't taken off for people other than grannies, I mean I'd love one, far better than carrying heavy shopping bags. Somebody needs to make them cool

I use one of these, and I'm cool. ;-)
I use one as easier than heavy bags weighing my little arms down lol

Better still, get one of these31764387-9pwd4.jpg
The problem is that they don't fold up to put in the car and you feel a bit daft wheeling it until you have bags to put in it!

Just a typical daft British attitude - just like it used to be for man bags. Shopping trolleys are used by all ages in Scandinavia (and probably the rest of enlightened Europe too) - they're not remotely connected with grannies. They also do some very stylish ones too. Plain commonsense to use them but Brits look down their noses at them for some odd reason.

Well, they're not going to look up at them. It's afterall a shopping trolley.

That would be like the old man and the sea round here - by the time I got home there wouldn't be anything in it!
I have a (funky) shopping trolley - only problem is there's three flights of stairs to humph it up and down first :p!
Went to pick up my reservation from Homebase but changed my mind after seeing the trolley in person. It looks cheap and flimsy. Good luck who took the plunge.
