Ordered! Great price. Thanks OP
Heat added
Thanks OP, ordered! Been waiting for this one to come down again, now that all of the content is released
Heat! Very good price for the Switch version and it's a fantastic game.
Now that all the content has been released on a cartridge it’s on my radar. Could someone tell me, is this old school difficult? New school hard like a souls game? Frustrating when you die? How does it play portably? Does it have difficulty settings? Thanks in advance. Voted hot
I'm stopping buying anything digital now :-(
Ordered, been meaning to play this for some time.
Even though I do have Steam and a decent PC, it just seems like this would be a perfect Switch game.
Still too rich for my blood.
It’s £16.50 at the Japanese eshop but I’m not sure it has English language
Phenomenal game. I’m a software developer that’s dabbled in amateur game development for fun and these types of games are so impressive from both a development perspective but mostly, this is just a great game.

Wicked game. Think Mega Man crossed with Mario. Hollow Knight is also great but actually takes inspiration from the souls games. Both a fun hard games but Shovel is a 7/10 thought whereas Hollow is 9/10. Voted hot!

After watching Mark Brown’s video on Game Maker's Toolkit (IGN promoted), I went ahead and bought it: m.youtube.com/wat…268 and I’m so glad I did. That was such an interesting watch and I really appreciate what Yacht Club Games managed to achieve.

Strangely it was Hollow Knight that initially put me off purchasing Shovel Knight as I find Souls games far too frustrating and likewise early Mega man games, but this game (or collection of games) balances things all out so well. Looking at screenshots or watching videos did nothing for me until I actually played it and it just clicked. This is one to keep in my ever expanding Switch collection.
