It looks as though buying a new copy of the game for sub-£20 isn't an easy task nowadays but thankfully Toys R Us sells it for £14.96 in-store. At least they do on Brent Cross whom had several copies and I picked one up (already own the game but it's unsealed).

Damnit, voted hot without noticing it was in store.

I have to admit, I really hate seeing these very specific in-store deals. They should have their own section or something like that, or maybe a way to only make it come up if the postcode near you.

What bloody use is a cheap game in Brent Cross to 99% of everyone who reads this site? And that's of the people who might actually be interested in the deal!

Not intended as a dig to the poster BTW, just a general gripe.

You could always check your local Toys R Us as they might have it.

I do agree that In-Store deals should have their own section as they're different from Online Deals.

amazing game. couldn't put it down on the 3ds.. only when the battery died that is

Seeing a new Wii U game for under £20 and after hearing a lot of great things about this game I took a gamble and wow! Reminds me of my days of playing on my NES when I was 5. Great platformer, nice controls and a fun story. It also comes with an old school printed instruction manual! A must own game, become the Shovel Knight and save the world from the Evil Enchantress!

This is it, the best you can really do it check your nearest shop which seems an unnecessary faff. Time is money! Add X amount if time to the cost of the game and the possibility of not finding anything and it severely hits the potential value of the deal imo.

I think it would be good if you could set up a filter so you only got notifications when the shop was close to you, or not at all for in-store deals if preferred...

Been wanting this on the 3DS and it was for a while down to 14 quid but I waited and waited thinking it would get cheaper. Problem is now it is selling out most places and the price of the game is going up!

Think it was Argos that had it available at that price and wish now I had just went for it

No one really expected this game to run out of print so quickly at major retailers. I'm glad to have picked up a sealed copy as it's well worth it.

Have played it on console and it is good but you know that kinda game is even better when played on handheld. I have that same feeling about Mighty No 9 and look forward to having it on 3DS if they would hurry up and announce the release date! Be cool if the new Shovel Knight game coming out this year also comes to 3DS
