incredibly brave of them. our fans wanna smash things up even if we win!
Watched the last two n the pub ,was mental tmoz all thelads getting together and going to my mates ...tele in back garden , beer , food ... Come on England Cinemas are for movies !
You seem to be fun at parties. Can't find my dislike button 👎
Does this still work?
But what model fridge is it though?
Actually, I was wrong on Gateshead Vue prices... It's £7.99 a seat, or £9.99 for a VIP seat. My student seat is £4.29, or £6.29 for student VIP... Plus, 50p booking fee a seat I think. That's a ludicrously good price IMO.
My local vue (Portsmouth) is doing the double bill but its £22
I'm heading to the Gateshead Vue... it's lush. We've got 6/7 cinemas in the North East and nobody seems to go to this one so it's not been trashed yet. I use the two Odeon's we have a lot, but this is my favourite multiplex in the North. Very modern, very new and plush. I think Vue's prices vary heavily between locations. There's one 10-15 miles away in Cramlington and it's usually almost twice the price. Incidentally, I booked this ages ago so don't know if the prices fluctuate.
Share the link? Was it nationwide my vue charged the same as showcase but every seat looks like its been pulled off a chav filled bus.
Got this at my local Vue, VIP seat. £10.50. Yes, total for both films (before I'm quizzed).
£6.50 is a lot better than the standard 2D adult price of £11.25 at my local Showcase Cinema! Cineworld and Odeon both offer unlimited cards if that's what you want.
It used to be £4.50, then £5 and now £6.50 I wanted to watch Suicide Squad and guess what? Sunday, Monday and Tuesday Suicide Squad was only available on the Xplus screen which cost another £3 or £4. Same goes for Dr.Strange only available in 3d on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I ended up paying a tenner to watch Fantastic beasts 3d even though I showed my insider card. Like I said I think it's run it's course and rather than try and put customers off they should replace it.
Money off on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - what's not to like? Would be nice if you could book online, of course....
The insider card has gone nothing but downhill unfortunately. They can no longer sustain it because they're losing money from it. Some screenings are available in 3d only for which they also add a surcharge. Most of the latest releases only play on smaller screens. It was good when it started but rather than discourage users of the scheme they should replace it with a season pass.
"Insider tickets are NOW AVAILABLE for online purchase at the following cinema locations ONLY: Glasgow, Cinema de Lux Bristol, Cardiff, Teesside, Manchester, Dudley, Walsall, Cinema de Lux Derby, Cinema de Lux Leeds, Cinema de Lux Leicester, Cinema de Lux Nottingham. , Cinema de Lux Peterborough, Cinema de Lux Reading, Cinema de Lux Southampton (with more cinema locations to coming soon!), - however these are currently restricted to one Insider ticket per transaction"
Good spot OP!
Thanks had my card a good year or so never used it :)
I got one of these cards and have had for a good few years now, sure this was posted a few years back too!
Don't think so as they are already discounted. 241 can be used on 2x students or seniors though.
Hi just saw in leicester as well
Hope this is national.
Z ZmmmYour text here
good value if you can go on insider days!
Online its just £50 and £60
Prob quidco as well
£100 for £75 too, been around for a while
It's every Thursday, 2 for 1 on last playing films
Is it only Thursday 4th December that's it's 2 for 1? Or every Thursday? After going on their site, I got the impression that it meant every Sunday Monday n Tuesday this was on but it seems that may be a different offer and not the 2 for 1.
Thanks. Seems impossible to register via mobile tho! :@
Thank you didn't know showcase did that
Heartening to see that others thought the film was garbage as well. I was beginning to think it was a case of the Emperors new clothes.
How anyone found this show funny astonishes me
or you could watch father ted
Please don't do it.... I made the mistake, thats a couple of hours of my life I will never get back. Says something when the only laugh from the audience was during the outtakes at the end.... No doubt, it will be on tv this xmas (after people have gone out and bought the dvd as presents).
LOVE Mrs Brown ..BUT the film waste of time...stay home x.
This has been going for ages, was originally Tuesday only then they added Sunday and Monday. They used to have free previews for the insider member and a guest, that changed to free for the member and paying for the guest then they stopped the preview screenings altogether. Price has increased over time as well. Also you get monthly offers on the popcorn/drinks/food as well, currently it's £1 off the caramel popcorn £2.95(normally £3.95).
Been using this for a while, good value..
Thanks for the heads up good to know.
Great find. Thanks OP. The Leicester Showcase is really nice. Great seats too, might go to watch a match or two.
wow! that's great find. Thanks op
When did they increase the price? Not that long ago it used to be £5
Guess you've not been a member as long as you think then :p I can't remember when I joined but they used to have free member only preview screenings where you could bring along a guest, after a little while it got changed to free for the member and paid for the guest then they stopped the free screenings all together. I saw a couple/few free preview screens between joining and them stopping it. All well and good odeon and cineworld doing that but couple of issues 1) not everyone goes to the cinema before noon, 2) not everyone has a cineworld or odeon local, my closest cineworld is like 45mins away and closest odeon 30mins. Vue and showcase are closer to me(10-15min). Also showcase used to do Tuesdays all day for £5 then it went up to £6, now I think is £7 something(this little tidbit is for the time machine owners out there),
I've been a member of this for years, don't think I've ever heard of any member only advance screenings lol. And the price used to be £5 until 2014!
cannot see any odeon films for a £4 OR cineworld for £5 ?
cineworld do films for £5 before noon aswell
Good question. Never tried as I always get better rates on insider card and orange Wednesdays. I don't think so.
Can you use it to book online do you know? Thanks
and sign up for the insider card too.
Oh for goodness sake! Why are people so arrogant? Hot deal!
I think it is cold because the title says £50 for £40 gift card....
Yeah, why so cold? If you are a cinema go'er then it's basically one free entry and bit. £50 wouldn't last long for me anyway, particularly as I normally pay for two, while "she" chooses her favourite ice cream flavour.
They do this every year i always buy 1 ...don't know why so cold it's a good deal if you don't have alternative cinema close to you, it's a free tenner worth of movie
think you mean £40 for a £50 gift card
oh Rocky! how could you! rofl i watched this when i was younger, hilarious i have the 25th anniversary on dvd
Used to like this film, but haven't been able to watch it since OH said he dressed up when he went. Very hairy with a fat gut inside stockings and basque have given me nightmares since he told me.
I'm just a sweet transvestite, From Transexual, Transylvania
I see you shiver in antici . . . . . . . pation
it's just a jump to the .......................
gutted its only at showcase! but heat added for the deal
would love to do this!
Check the email they sent a couple of days ago. Remember you can't buy the discounted tickets online, just at the ticket desk.
I'm a member and it's not allowing me to get tickets at £5.00 today (sunday)
Here's a link to the trailer.
Went to see this today with the family and we all enjoyed it. Note that tickets at the reduced Insider Member price cannot be bought online, only at the ticket desk. It appears that non-Insider Members can book tickets online, but at the normal price (£7.50 general admission & £6.40 child/OAP), but not sure why you wouldn't sign up seeing as it's free!
Tremendous charity. No cinema near me but voted hot regardless. I would encourage anyone, even in these tough times, to make a small donation to this excellent charity. I switched to supporting them a few months ago when I discovered that some of the people involved with Aerobilty were corrupt
Could you just go free with Sweet Sunday vouchers?
My pleasure posting the deal! Hope it helps the children!
If you want to get a bit of an idea of where the money goes, please take a look at this video from last years trip. The next batch of amazing children will be going in October. Dreamflight Glimpse 2013
