Price matching Selfridges. I have had SE215 headphones for years and I mean years. I bought these updated version when they were on offer to get the wireless functionality. I have Airpod Pro/ B&O E8 / Beats Powerbeats 3. All have there uses and advantages. However for a workout/running these beat them all hands down. They don't budge and will never fall out. Noise Isolation with the Memory foam buds is superb and while it will never beat active noise cancellation it comes a close second with these.

The blurb is as follows

  • Bluetooth 5 Wireless Technology pairs with most phones, laptops and tablets, with up to 10 hours of battery life and 30 feet (10 meters) of range
  • Premium, wireless audio performance with clear sound and deep bass. A dedicated, premium headphone amplifier provides superior, high-fidelity audio quality with wireless capability
  • Support for multiple codecs. Qualcomm aptX audio, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, AAC, and SBC enable superior digital audio
  • Sound Isolating design featuring fit kit with a variety of sleeves for custom fit blocks up to 37 dB of outside noise for immersive listening no matter where you are
  • Inline remote and microphone offers seamless control for phone calls, voice commands, and easily accessible operation of volume and music playback

I'm not "Shure" my right ear is big enough
I am still using the SE500 pair purchased over 10 years ago. Superb build quality, just replaced the ear tips.
How long do the tips last and how much does it cost to replace them

Great to know you can afford £400 buds. You get what you pay for - your comments are arguably irrelevant in respect of a pair 1/5 the cost.

£13.9 for 10 earbuds.

The buds last a while. Though I guess it depends on how often you use them too. Because of the design of the earphones (loop round the ear) there isn't the pressure on the memory foam to retain the seal so they don't lose their shape as quickly as other memory foam buds for my other earphones.

My SE215 are about the same age. I couldn't bring myself to throw them out, so I took the bluetooth cable from the new SE215 and have been using them until they eventually pack up whenever that will be. So the new earphones are still in the box!!
Can I ask if it can be worn in a "normal" way instead of how it was shown on the picture where the cable route behind the ears?
Thanks...
Love them but will wait for the wireless version..

There is no reason why you couldn't but that does remove one of the main reasons why you get such a good seal and stopping it from falling out

Assume you mean completely wireless? My guess is if they do enter that market you'll be looking at a price of three times what these are.

Lasted 3-4 years for me. I replaced them with Comply tips, which themselves were replaced couple of years ago.

Just colour of the earphones. They all come with the same accessories etc. It’s just the colour of the casing that is different.

Not sure about that but happy to pay a premium
How is the mic on these? Can you reliably call people?

I had the wired model for years until I lost them travelling, love these headphones.

Got these recently. Meh on the mic. Don't wear anything with a collar or they'll rub against. If I could go back in time I'd buy the wired version, but that's just me.
Bought these. Wasn't impressed with the sound Really wanted to like them as they feel like a premium product but had to return unfortunately.
Well I got them but really wish I hadn't. Pita to put on, can't get a seal with any of the tips, uncomfortable, sound is thin and tinny (undoubtably because I can't get a seal). Like the case though
