I thought the film was very incepetion-esque so if you enjoyed that film you should definitely give this a shot for a fiver.

I see what the OP means, similar family themes for the lead character (Lionel Decapricorn)
I actually think I preferred Shutter Island, both good movies though.

Good movie, ending was a let down for me.

simply one of the best movies i have ever watched just to let you know you would've have to watch it twice at least buy worth every penny

Good price but c'mon, half an hour in we could all see where this one was going.

Great film! I agree its very Inception-esque, they are like companion films. The nature of reality vs fantasy, Leo dealing with guilt through the whole film (and fabricating a fantasy to deal with his guilt), another similar plotline I won't mention due to spoilers. Shutter Island was a great cinematic film, lots of Hitchcockian elements and confident 50's style photography and music. The ending was perfect, the film is like a mobius strip.

fantastic film, i thought it was better than inception to be honest.

Great film. Came out a few months before inception but was held up for woe reason. Should have actuakly came out in December 09/ January 10 and this way it may have been Oscar nominated. Anyways heat but I got the blu ray from bee a few months back for a measely 3 quid :- D

I didn't, I suspect most didn't, not as early as that. You may have seen or heard something before in a review perhaps that gave you an inkling to begin with. I only ever saw a trailer which gave nothing away. Either that or you always think about what the ending might be throughout. I just let a movie take me along and don't try to second guess, at least not until the latter stages.

Nope. I had heard and seen nothing about the film. I didn't know what the plot was short of reading the synopsis on the back cover.
It just fet so obvious that it was going down this road.

Nice avatar by the way. He is in my favourite film.
