Fantastic game!!!
Sank loads of hours matey
Brilliant game with one problem vs the original. You age too quickly in game, the original you used to be able to build an armada and take over a chain of holiday islands before it was time to euthanize polly and hang up your eye patch. In this version you are 40 before you can whisper Tortuga, still a great game at a bargain price.
Can you use a controller with the game? And yeah it's what class as my Xmas day!
Top deal for a top game. Heat added.
Ah the memories. Sid miers games. Elite 2. Settlers. Sim city. Still made time for real friends and wasn't a little fatty. Wow how did we manage it.
i always used a trainer just for the sole reason of stopping the age limit
I'm gonna ask, shoot me down! I welcome it But....I so want this game to be a C&C in boats.....Please tell me I'm right! Am I?
Worth a punt, thx!
Great find
If you have a tablet then I'd recommend grabbing this on there for an extra 49p (£1.99). Updated controls and generally more accessible (and portable).

Regardless of platform though, this is a classic.
Not just SM Pirates, also discounted by 75% are some Monkey Island games, Port Royale 3, Risen 2: Dark Waters, Space Pirates and Zombies, Patrician IV Gold and Pirates of Black Cove

About time too Steam!! Been waiting for this to be a decent price for ages.

Brilliant game, so many hours spent on the CD32 version, even more than Liberation. Then whack the game CD into a CD player and listen to their cheesey 90's dance remix version of Drunken Sailor.

Back in the days days when geek meant you were lame not 'cool'

Some of the best gameplay ever.

Consider yourself shot down, no it's not like C&C. Its actually got a few game types mixed in, but C&C is not one of them. It's very hard to define what type of game it is, as there is no other game I can think of that is in the same style. If you remember the old Infogrames game, North & South (another brilliant classic), then you get a bit of the idea of the content types.

I suppose it's an action RPG, just without the heavy stats trawling. The 'action' comes in different forms, ie. QTE, PvP, tactical battles, missions, treasure hunting, and just plain sailing around.

The RPG bit comes in as you build up your armada, buying supplies, getting married, being a privateer, pirate or trader, etc.

It is £1.50 you will not regret!
