For those who don't want refurbished, there has been a Siemens Dect set posted recently, that I think was new. This is a good deal, as the new set seemed to be.

(for the new ones)

still this is a good price  voted hot

very good phones got them for my mum, who couldnt get on with her bt ones very clear and good range

Apart from these being second-hand, Siemens is no better or worse than other run of the mill brands.
Panasonic are still the only brand of DECT phone that is worth bothering with. Offers come up on here often enough (eg last week) so usually worth waiting for.

Siemens are far better than the generic manufacturers, who don't implement phone networks, but sell to the likes of Argos ! :whistling:

I have had Siemens, in my last 12 year quest for DECT phones that are remotely usable. My hearing isn't terrible, but it's not as good as it was, so good sound quality is the important thing for me, and I found them no different to the usual junk like BT own brand ones, Philips, and the cheapies like Binatone :-(

Few products are so universally feeble as DECT phones, but the convenience is hard to beat. Panasonic is best, so far, although even then, they could be better!

Funny how mobile phones never seem nearly so poor!
