Excellent price for an amazing machine.

Is that parts and labour?

Good price, like both Siemens and AO but have just bought a Samsung WF80F5E5U4W instead.

Forgot to mention that. Yes, it's parts and labour

I think these are pretty much the same model as the (except control layout) Bosch Exxcel WAQ28461GB but with the 5 year warranty the Siemens is a way better deal.

Just bought for new house. Hot!

Great for Siemens Stains (just ask Roger - The Cabin Boy)

Great price to include a 5 yr warranty.my family have had several Bosch/siemens washing machines/tumble dryers over the years and with a family of 5 they are have been run into the ground. Whilst not bullet proof issues are minor (door handles etc) and never had problems with the warranty.my last bosch washing machine lasted 7 years

I think you'll find Master Bates knows more about this.

To be fair,it's a washing machine..... if it could travel space and time it would be truly amazing and would be an excellent price,in my eyes, this is mediocre at best.

Maybe so but he doesn't do the domestic duties ;-)

I got the exact same machine from Appliances Online for £470 after a £75 cashback including 5 year warranty this year in May. So hot deal for a good machine . . .

Hot, technically a Bosch but what Bosch used to be, a higher quality model.
Any deals on washer dryers?

Is this machine very loud as washing machines go? I have been looking at LG Direct Drive as they are meant to be decent and quiet, around the same price as this.

AO seem to have quiet as a pro and noisy as a con for this machine so not very useful!

Wish they could gift wrap this. Her birthday is coming up soon.

Can't really moan about the noise even on spin. For me is acceptable and most of the users would probably say same thing about it.

I paid £499 5 days ago...:/

Just gone for one too but before I saw this post.... our Samsung stopped working today...lasted 6 years. Already have a Siemens dryer and that has been going strong for 9 years (fingers crossed) . With the £75 cashback seems a decent enough deal.

Bought mine yesterday (coming Sunday for free). I was looking at a panasonic but it was too deep for our kitchen.

Great figures for electric & water usage too..

This is exactly the same as the Bosch but 5 yrs cover, £10 cheaper (after the £75) and the silver door sold it for me.

£9.50 quidco too, seems a good buy and hopefully the end of my "get what you pay for" washing machine purchasing

I am after washing machine wanted to buy WF80F5E0W4W-Samsung-Ecobubble which is slightly cheaper 419 - 50 cashback, how would u compare them two? both similar but Samsung automatically weights washing load and adjusts amount of water.....

Looks a good deal!

Hot! Just ordered, thanks OP

Bosch, Neff and Siemens laundry appliances are all built in the same factory. We have had a Siemens IQ300 for over 2 years now and it really is an excellent washing machine - a replacement for an 11 year old Siemens.

Doesn't the law state that white goods should last 5 years anyway?
Edited by: "furbix" 23rd Sep 2013

The Sale of Goods Act states that household appliances should last for a reasonable amount of time - and this is open to interpretation.

we have the iq700 and its fantastic would definately recomend siemans appliances. heat added.:D

It's actually 6 years in the UK

can't seem to find where these are made...the more expensive IQ500 and IQ700 range have Made in Germany proudly displayed on the control panel.....but nothing on this one.

The Sales of Goods Act covers one for up to six years from the original purchase date. However, there is no definition that white goods should have a life expectancy of six years - only that they should last for 'a reasonable time'.

As in my previous post all Bosch, Siemens and Neff laundry products are made in the same factory - our IQ300 has 'Made in Germany' on the front.

Thanks for letting us know about this. Looks a good deal so I've ordered one and am getting mine on Thursday. (I can now finally lay our poor old Whirlpool to rest.)
