Cheapest elsewhere is £450 so a reasonable saving on an excellent brand and 5 year warranty.

Washes in just 15 minutes. For small loads of 5 or 6 T-shirts, the Siemens WM14Q390GB has a Quick Wash which gets your clothes clean in just 15 minutes. The 8kg drum will hold around 40 T-shirts in total, so it’s ideal for any load size. You’ll save money with the A+++ energy rating, as this model is only going to cost you £21.48 a year – considering how much you’ll get done in a week, that’s a big saving compared to standard machines. You can also customise your wash to suit your needs too. Push the EcoPerfect or SpeedPerfect button and it adjusts energy and water to save you time or money. And it comes with a 5 year warranty.

ao.com and others will price match if you prefer to go with other companies, though the gas superstore has a excellent online reputation, though I haven't personally used them

Better than the one that you have ordered ????

Good price for a 5 year warranty . Extended warranty will normaly cost a couple of hundred. I have used The Gas Superstore a couple of years ago and also this last year and no issues.

Well I'd have even more time if I didn't have to launder my socks

good price for a washer with 5yrs, but this siemens model lower end not made in German, as I initially thought being siemens Neff etc.. and the rrp was when it was first launched.

if you get a iq500 total different motor friend got one on line for more must add £525 with 5 yr.

ive recently bought a aeg 5yr cover for £379 at fenwicks home event had chance of above for same price but told aeg model made Germany where lower siemens models made out of Germany which I was taken back by.

Don't get me wrong its a good washer for 5 yr cover but if you think this siemens is made in Germany its not has same motor as iq100, still better than basic bosch,

My mum got an AEG with 5 years warranty for a similar price (plus at the time they did £60 cashback) about a year ago. Very good washing machine, though it would have been too noisey our open plan kitchen.

bough this model 2 years ago from peter tyson for about £529 and it being used every second day cant fault it and with 5 year guarantee anything goes wrong just pick up phone

We have an old Siemens washer and it has been great for about the last 12 years. I have been told that John Lewis own brand washers are made by AEG if anyone is looking for a cheaper alternative.

Top notch model, use 'eco perfect' for a longer wash time but that uses less water and energy.

How is it possible for a washing machine to clean a load of clothes, including rinse and spin in 15 minutes? Surely its a complete waste of water and detergent for that amount of time?

To be honest I think it is for lightly soiled, which basically means sweat which it should get out, mainly as a result of the detergent. I think most people would say the 15 minute wash is a freshinging up setting rather than a full wash setting.

I have this model as well and can say it does feel a quality made machine and appears to do a good wash - this in comparison to a Hotpoint it replaced. My father-in-law who used to fix washing machines for a living was impressed when he saw and heard it and its got many good reviews online.

I can't remember if I checked for a made in germany logo anywhere on it although I have read online before I bought it that someone confirmed theirs did.

The 15min wash in my opinion is a bit rubbish as it only spins at like 400 or 800 so its practically still wet when it comes out so takes an age to dry, its worth spinning it again at 1400 just to reduce the drying time if in a rush.

We use the mixed fabrics setting mostly which a 1hr or 1hr 8min on Eco mode, about 40-50 min on speed mode.

Definitely a good buy at £400 quid

I don't care if its made on Mars & the motor is same as what's in my old train set as long as it works & I get £400 worth of use out it. You have a point if the machine is junk, but many reviews say otherwise!

only a quid cheaper but £399 at RGB Direct

john lewis appliances are in general made by electrolux who own aeg, products can be made anywhere but they at the moment are sourcing alot from china.
