O2 have a deal on at the moment where If you signup to O2 Broadband you get Halo 4 and 2100 MS Points for free. I've already got O2 Broadband myself, so I rang them up and they said I can renew my 12 month contract and take advantage of the 12 months half price broadband of £6.25 AND also the free Halo 4 / 2100 MS Points deal too.

This is the 3rd time i've renewed my O2 Broadband in the past 8 months to get a cheaper deal. (now paid £6.25 for the past 8 months and have 12 months left again now)

Note you get £5 a month off for having a O2 simcard in use.

Seems when you recieve your 2100 MS Points, there is a sticker on it with 5 XBLA game codes for free too

I'm currently on the original 'unlimited' o2 broadband tariff. Would renewing with o2 move me over to the new tariffs (which I believe are limited downloads)?

I did the same with my contract, renewed it and got the games.

I get a f+f discount so it's cheap as chips for me.

I'm on the older Unlimited Standard legacy package. Just called to renew and was told I'd have to switch to the new All Rounder package to get this deal

A lot of these deals are to try and trick people on the old unlimited packages into taking up a new (awful) contract.

Should be getting FTTC in the new year anyway.

Im on the old legacy contract.
Apart from unlimited downloads, something which I don't do too much ofthese days anyway
Is it worth going on a new contract?

The All Rounder Package they'll want you to switch to is now unlimited too, but it's the Traffic Shaping that comes on all the new packages that's the killer.

Better to stay on standard package. I renewed for another 12 months paying 4.75/month. Landline is with Primus (un-bundled BT line) @7.99/month. ( Previous 2 years with o2 they also gave me 6 months free).

I would recommend for customer service as well.

good deal!

This does not seem as good as their last deal (1 years live, 2100 points, kinect sports season 2, 5 arcade games) but nice to see that they are still offering something.

Also, please be aware people on Tesco and GiffGaff, you will not qualify for the extra £5 (£2.50 after discount) off.

I took up this deal back in September and WAS advised on the phone at the time that if I took out a new broadband package I would get the extra discount as I was using the o2 network even though I am on Tesco and my first month went through as expected (£6.25) however the next month came in at £17.50.

It took quite a few calls, messages and complaints but in the end they conceded that after listening to the sales call they mis-sold the product to me and although I could not continue to pay £6.25 a month it would have to be £8.75, they did make a one off credit to my account of £38.75 to cover the discount plus refund for over payment of the second month so I will effectively have free broadband for the next few months, then £8.75 until September.

Seems that you get 5 Arcade game codes stuck to the 2100 points box so you indeed get them aswell this year

Awesome stuff, good to hear. If they are the same games, The Maw I thought was the best of them
