Signalex Neoprene iPad Case £1 @ Poundland

Now I know there is a similar thread - hotukdeals.com/tag/dea…452, but I went into Poundland today to find a Neoprene case ideal for iPads, whereas the deal posted before is regarding Neoprene cases ideal for 15" laptops.

10" Signalex Neoprene cases, available in black, grey, or red, for £1. It cushions and protects the device and prevents marks and scratches, as described on the label. Great value for money!

It is more like a sleeve, to be honest. There is no zip, but there is a tight flap sort of thing which prevents the iPad falling out. It is a very tight fit. The dimensions of the case are almost exactly that of the iPad, so you have to squeeze the iPad in. Most Neoprene sleeves will cost at least about £5, so I reckon this is a bargain at £1.

Got it from the Meadowhall Poundland, in Sheffield.

Could you post the dimensions? I'm just wondering if my netbook would fit in, as it's slightly bigger than an ipad.

I purchased one of these a few weeks back. Good as a basic cover if you don't have a protector on the iPad but it's such a tight fit that if you had a case attached or suchlike then it wouldn't fit. Great value though. I ended up buying one of these Belkin ones from Amazon which are really nive

Anything larger than an iPad would really struggle to fit in to be honest. The sleeve seems like it can be stretched an extra centimetre length and widthways.

Ah okay, cheers, my netbook is probably atleast half an inch longer than an iPad, so sounds like it wouldn't fit!

Yeh I wouldn't get it if it's half an inch longer. Would be better to find one that fits more comfortably.

Got one of these for my Acer Aspire One netbook. Fits perfectly.

Ah really? I could only find deals related to the 15" neoprene case for laptops when I did a search prior to posting this thread. Found a few of those threads. But found nothing on the 'ideal for iPad' neoprene case. This case measures about 10" diagonally. I'm guessing the 15" one measures 15" diagonally? Or am I being stupid and are they both the same product? I was convinced this was the first deal for this product when I posted it. Usually I don't submit a deal unless I'm dead certain it hasn't been posted before, and in fact this is my first deal!

I think you are the first to post the specific ipad size neoprene covers matey. Sad soul that i am, I regularly wander Poundland on my lunch break. First saw the ipad size appear about ten days ago. Was almost going to post it myself but never got round to it. Both sizes are excellent value for a quid. Exactly the same as on fleabay costing a fiver upwards.

The best deal at poundland is the screen protectors for the IPad, when you cut them up you can get a screen protector for pretty much every phone you will ever own!

Got one of these for my Acer Aspire One netbook. Fits perfectly.

Nice! I need to get a couple then

Cheers

This looks a lot like the case that I have for my Kindle 3...

I have one of these for my iPad and it fits perfectly :-)

I got one and it's so tight that the stitching is tearing where you have to pull it open. I'll take it back for a replacement when I get the chance. Good value though.

These are great little cases. I have several of them now. Also have 2 of the screen guards they sell but have yet to apply them.

I bought one of these from dealextreme, and liked em so much I bought four more for the family. I think it's worth noting that you can use them over the top of the Apple iPad case, so when I'm transporting the iPad in my rucksack it won't get scuffed up etc. It's a tight fit, but it works beautifully. I find the best way to get it on is like a pillow case, invert it (red out), line up corners on the iPad, and roll down like a condom (apparently).

I don't think anyone has mentioned that they're reversible.

Bought 1 of these a couple of weeks ago jus to see if it would fit a netbook.... For a quid it was worth the risk!!

Does anyone know if they are still doing this deal?
