Does the job well, adequate build quality and for only a pound its a very good piece of equipment highly recommend!

Fits most smartphones (tested a 5.1" phone).
Also can be attached to cameras!

Probably yes.....but not really designed for anything that heavy....I'd not risk an SLR on it.....maybe a compact or possibly an action camera

For anyone who still uses that sort of thing....Selfie Sticks are now only £1 at poundworld....as are the selfie remotes
Is this for those people that can't be bothered to hold their phones while texting?

bore off, it was funny.

The spring is too strong for an lg g3. It starts to bend my phone. Make sure you cut the spring to reduce tension on bigger phones. Used this for timelapse. Another issue is the legs detract as its very loose. Good buy for a quid but modifications required if you're serious about filming on a budget.
So this is £1 from poundland and is classed as a deal? Amazing

Yeah it's terrible that they bought out 99p stores and put up the price.

It should work if you unscrew the phone holder and screw it into the DSLR however I've never used a DSLR so I wouldn't know. I know it work with compact digital cameras
I bought one of these and it snapped the first time I put my One Plus 2 in it. The phone holder bit was fine but the gimble/ball bit that attaches to the tripod is made from brittle plastic. I ended up using the phone holder part with a different tripod as the screw was the same.
Worth a quid even if you just take the phone holder and use it to attach your phone to a proper full size tripod, you can improve your videos an awful lot just by doing that.
