Don't need to keep the room/lamp light ON to see your laptop's keyboard. Rather spend £1 and stop annoying your partner by turning ON those big lights.

*Also, as per Title says get USB Card Reader for £1 too.

Love Poundland, but one of these card readers absolutely corrupted one of my memory cards - better to buy something you can trust for a few quid more IMO.

Get the same crap from that auction site for pennies, great for increasing my feedback and getting plus points.

Why do you need these for Macs, they have illuminated keyboards. Just proves how crap these are, the muppets don't even know their market!! Cheap rubbish, if your laptop goes **** up, serves you right for buying tat from Scumland.

If it makes you feel better you can buy the same thing branded Dane-Elec zMate for £6.59 - or £2.69 from 7dayshop.

Just bad luck IMHO might have happened with a card reader that you paid £10 for.

I have been using these cheap card readers from poundland for many years without any problems at all, and in any case many of the more expensive branded readers are the same thing inside, you just pay extra for the brand name!

Steve Jobs just took away your membership card to the cool club.Anyway OP this has been on for years but good deal anyway, especially the card readers.

Pardon me for having a Macbook pro with an illuminated keyboard. If only I'd known Scabland were going to be selling tat like this, I could have saved myself a couple of hundred quid!

Get real people, and please don't knock others for having nice things.

@ dcx_badass: yeah its been in poundland for years but many still don't know this so I thought to refresh the brain cells...lol Thank for the support.
@Simplyjimbo you are right that get it from any auction site and increase your feedback rating, I agree but this is something you go in the store, like it and get it scanned but again nice point....and its noted

The same card readers from top computer products selling retailer/etailer are almost of the same quality but expensive.

But do carry on calling anyone less wealthy than yourself scum, that's totally fine.

why use the pc in the dark in your room....... are you doing something you shouldnt be!. other wise just turn the light on

My Lenovo Thinkpad has a built in keyboard light, so not exclusive Macs.
