I am very sorry to hear about the situation you had with card - it must have been very stressful and I fully understand you feeling. I have checked our customer service emails log and I have not been able to find any email or contact from you in regards to this issue.

Anyhow, it should also be noted that we do not handle any payments nor have any view of customers card details at anytime. The whole process is handled by SagePay externally with the highest security measures available to protect customers data. In addition, our website security certificate provides customers with an identity assurance warranty of $50,000. A card details theft can happen online or offline - your card issuer should be able to give you further details on how to protect yourself from such situations.

I'm sure you're aware, that I wasn't the only one on HUKD who had a fraudulent transaction within couple of days after using Hitari for the first time. I'm in no doubt that my details have been compromised by Hitari (or SagePay if they process the payments for you).

And you are correct, I have not contacted you about this issue. But that is simply because after what had happened, I don't think I want to disclose any more of my personal details or ever to shop at Hitari again. Also I'm not sure what you could've done.

I have provided everything to my bank and they are investigating it. But it's a lot of hassle, filling forms to report it, having your cards cancelled and then having to resurrect all the regular payments again to the new cards. Not to mention all the stress and worry that comes with this kind of situation.
