HOT! This is a great film, a little slow paced but that is one of it's charms. Well worth a look if you haven't seen it and don't mind a bit of Sci Fi.

Brilliant film.

:¬}

A scifi cult classic - has been £2 at Fopp last month - may find a few left if one locally.

Tempted but not sure about

Aspect Ratio: 1.33:1

will have to investigate further!

Hmm, good spot. A bit of googling seems to indicate that this might indeed be a 4:3 pan & scan transfer (and with mono sound too). The region 1 releases are proper 1.85:1 transfers apparently.

This is probably one film that I'm definitely holding out for on blu-ray...

Great film, got the video of it lying around somewhere, but for under £3 I might as well go for it.

I just cant watch this film - ending is worse than Bambi's mum getting blasted to buggary - tooo depressing!

(it is great though)

Saddest film ever (well along with with All Dogs Go To Heaven of course). Gets me every time.:cry:

Huey & Dewey are cool dudes , worth it just for them .

I prefer Dark Star to Silent Running. It comes down to which songs are more cringeworthty:- Joan Baez's Rejoice in the Sun or John Carpenter's Benson Arizona. I don't mind the latter. Or the beach ball alien.

A little dated but still a great film!
I loved Huey & Dewey too :-)

The above is exactly my comment !;-)

Why is everyone forgetting Louie?
