This is a Which Magazine Best Buy from March 2015.

This will be my first memory foam mattress. I've done my research and this is the best mattress I have found for myself for this market sector. It undercuts mattressnextday.co.uk and mattressonline.co.uk by at least £60. I've included delivery of £3.99 for a fair comparison with "free delivery" websites.

The Which best buy recommendation certainly helped me make my decision.

3 Zone - is this specially designed for 3 in a bed romps?

if I read the technical details correctly on this mattress its only 18cms/7 inch thick. Seems a little thin to me?

Hi Quids, yes indeed, it is 18 cm. I thought that was too thin to even think about, 25+ cm for me please!

However, perhaps the traditional pocket spring of 25 cm or more is actually a waste of a few centimetres? They do however function in a completely different way, so I am happy that if (when) I fall out of bed, I'll be more likely to be conscious after the event!

On a different perspective, many pocket spring mattresses come with an added foam layer, often as little as an added 2 cm, so 18 cm is quite generous? These "memory" mattresses are just completely different than sprung ones, so it seems. The number of manufacturers is huge, so i also went with a well known brand. Seasons greetings!
