I have recently been looking for a new mattress and after much searching gave up. This morning i saw a deal on here for a 3 zone double silentnight mattress through ebay for £150. Someone within the deal mentioned the same one was available at sainsburys for £140 so i ordered one of those.

I went to cost co this afternoon and saw they had the 5 zone version of the mattress for only £99.91 plus VAT. (which i think totals at the £119 above plus some pence. They also had a kingsize version for around £150 i believe but i cant quite remember.

Will be a deal thats not for everyone but because ive been looking for a while even if one person finds it helpful ill consider it a good deed done.

Do not waste your money on these.

Purchased a 3 zone one a year ago and hated it. To start is a hard as a brick and smells of chemicals. After a few weeks out softens up then you notice the over heating of the memory foam and spend the night tossing and turning.

After about 2 months you will notice your body shape in the mattress. .. It does not bounce back like they say.

Finally after 6 months you are left sleeping in a body shaped dent. The memory foam top has squished to nothing and the lower foam layers are hard.

Great buy if you hate someone. But if you value your back avoid. Get a sprung mattress with foam topping instead.

yes, i mention sainsburys deal, and bought my self that one.. Its great deal if its any better than 3zone. P.s. Can i still cancel sainsburys order?
btw i cant understand, whats the differience if its described "rolled mattress", its same thing? Or its thinner and designed to be rolled up after use?

I suppose it's not as good as the pricier ones. I have 3 of these from Costco and can't complain for the price. would recommend them for £150/double.

For £120 im not expecting a luxurious mattress. Its only a stop gap til we find something we really like.

As far as the sainsburys one goes dont seem to be able to cancel online...

Their advice online is to refuse delivery with the driver and they will return it to warehouse and issue refund from there. A ridiculous way to do business but thats the advice from their website so thats what i will be doing.

Yep memory foam with dementia

Just to mention aswell im sure these mattresses come with a 5 year guarantee but in that other thread someone mentioned thats its not really 5 year its 1 because you end up having to pay a portion of the cost which rises every year until year 5 where you end up paying something daft like 85% of the cost.

CKEBROWN2212 - if you mattress went that bad after 6 months why didnt you just claim under the warranty. I kept getting told in bed shops that if the foam goes like that its faulty and you can claim. (might be worth a shot if its still under warranty)

just incase anyone is wondering, i doubt they are, I have been on the mattress for a few nights now and all seems to be fine. No joint pain in the mornings as i was getting before. The mattress does still have a faint whiff of the chemically smell but its definately fading. For a cheap double mattress maybe for a guest room or just a stop gap as we are using it for then i would definately recommend it.

If it's for a spare room fine. If its your permanent mattress that you're going to spend every night sleeping on I wouldn't bother. I learned the hard way. Developed chronic back pain eventually to the point where I couldn't walk properly. Decided to invest in a proper mattress which I've now had for about 6 months and Needless to say my back pain has pretty much all but gone.

Wish I had listened to the guy originally who told me not to bother could have saved myself a year and a half of misery

I too purchased this zone 5 mattress from Costco & it's less than a year old & like the above comments it has developed dips in the foam when you lay on it for a while & it doesn't return back to its shape. Very disappointed as I've added more pain to my back & now have spent 1500 for a decent mattress. Total waste of money, steer clear!
