Me too. It's terrible. So, so bad.
-The foam is not level at all with it being significantly thinner at the ends (as per some Amazon reviews) so the whole thing is uneven and your head ends up lower than your chest and your back is arched. Gave me a terrible neck and back.
-No where near the stated depth of foam, it's at least 20% thinner as per reviews
-it's also incredibly unsupportive.
Our cheaper IKEA one is much better.
It's probably ok for kids or waifs but not for anyone of medium to robust build

Mine sunk in the middle , the wifes side was worse than mine , shes 8st dripping wet
Ours has badly sunk after a 3 years but it was good when it was good.
Had one for over a year sunk in the middle so binned it ! Got a Simba one now much better !
Have had these and can vouch for the quality and say that these are well and truly crap.
Oh and cold from me. Don't buy these unless your looking to get back issues.

Is it me but do silentnight mattresses tend to look really cheap quality but have high prices due to being a well known name.

Simbas from Simbashop are included in the eBay offers at least once a month. I ended up getting a King for around £230 at the start of the year with a 20% off code and it's genuinely the best mattress I've ever had, can't recommend it enough.
Mine has turned into a banana.
I had one I actually took it back in store for a refund after silent night failed to understand the issue with it. I was sleeping sat up as my bum sunk into it. Don't do it! I tried hypnia with similar results. Ikea mattresses look fab but I haven't tried those I just bought a spring with memory top.
Don't buy, I have had one before and they don't last. Spend some more and get a quality pocket sprung mattress

I don't bother with Silentnight products. Everything I've bought has been poor quality, or not lasted very long.

I am very happy with my Vi-Spring matrress.

I'll check them out thanks, based in ROI though so I'm not sure about shipping thanks!
Why single beds are expensive than double always, doesn't make sense
Silentnight the primark of mattresses.
Simba all the way folks

Was that a new or refurbished mattress? It's currently £270 after 20% discount for a refurbished hybrid king-size mattress from simbasleep on eBay. Seems expensive to me when brand new IKEA mattresses are cheaper and higher-rated by Which?

It was "refurbished", but it was simply a return under their 90 day trial with a new replacement cover, and indistinguishable from brand new.

I ordered on a Sunday, had a delivery confirmation and timeslot by Tuesday and was sleeping on it by Thursday. The delivery chaps called me when they were 15 mins away, allowing me to pop home from work to let them in. They then took the mattress upstairs, unwrapped it, put it on the bed for me and took all the wrapping away with them. The service was exceptional.

You should spend your money however you feel it will represent the best value for you, I can only pass on my feedback that the Simba is hands down the most comfortable mattress we have ever used. My partner is 10 stone lighter and 15 inches shorter than me, but I can now get out of bed without waking her because the mattress isolates weight transference. I used to suffer from the occasional back pain after a poor night's sleep, that simply doesn't happen any more. I can honestly say it's changed our lives in some small way.

Ultimately though, you can buy a mattress for a lot less brand new. I'm sure it will be absolutely fine! But as your username eludes to, if you pay peanuts....
