can u get electric shot while sleeping

Anyone know if there would be any problems fitting this to a double size bed?

Seems to be the best deal about at the moment for a king size under blanket. Heated.

It measures 137 x 165 cm. I have read some reviews that say they have fitted it to a double with no problems

I presume you mean an electric shock? The answer would be no.

Nice find. Was keeping an eye out for one of these.

Good price but only single control by the looks of it so same temp across the whole thing. My Mrs likes to have her side on full tilt which I find unbearable.

I bought the double from Amazon just before XMas, and if anything it's a bit too small. There is a big plug on it (connected to the sheet), which is right under where I sleep. The king should mean that plug is out of the way. HTH!

Ah, that is so sad. One of the loveliest things in life is a nice cool female bottom in a warm bed.

I would strongly recommend spending a little more on the bed sheet type one they make, as it doesn't move around or crumple so much, the coverage is much, much better, it has a timer, and a separate control for each half, with different setting for body and feet.

Got one of these on Amazon BF. Love it, warm up on its highest setting, level 3 then I leave it on its lowest setting overnight, toasty. Makes it very difficult to get up in the mornig.

I have one of these for my king size bed, and it's absolutely amazing. I turn it on a bit before I go to sleep on the highest setting, then when I get in bed I put it onto the lowest setting until morning. Super comfy and toasty warm.

+1 to this! Argos were doing 20% off recently and I snapped one up. The dual controls are perfect.

I was recommended to buy the king for a double as fits the bed perfectly. I'm glad I did as it's perfect. Some people also turn the blanket around so that the plastic port is at the bottom of the bed

Just what I need , the only downside is one controller instead of two (individual heat control) but at this price , good find , THANKS !!

Tried a few, the fleece fitted one was the only bearable one..Keeps the bed dread away..does cut down the snuggle quotient a bit tho

bought Morrison's own after having this one. it's soooo much better and you each have a switch, it fits the mattress right to the bottom and held on with elastic each corner, only 5 quid more, would recommend rather than this one

actually 3 quid more!

I might try hunt this down in store because it's oos online now. Does anyone know if this is a "fitted sheet" type electric blanket? I had one of the awkward ones you tie on and it didn't stay put!

OOS

Must say, I had one of these and it went wrong within 3 days... took it back, got another and it didn't work at all! I brought a much more expensive on in the end but it's much better. It's a silentnight memory foam one from argos is anyone has £120 to spend, although I would wholly recommend that.

Cheap to power aswell think I read they use 1p an hour.

These aren't particularly good quality - I bought on a couple of weeks ago. Not as well made as either a Cosy Comfort I bought last year, or a Lidl one from several years ago.

They are exactly the same blankets Argos sell as their value range - only difference is the label and the box. So if it's cheaper at Argos, get it there.

If you mean SHOCK, then yes - that's the purpose of electric blankets, to deliver a nasty, painful electrical jolt every 15 minutes to ensure you don't snore and keep the blanket awake

I have this exact same electric blanket. The plastic port is very annoying as it's always digging into my collarbone (I don't put the blanket under the pillow, pointless, would result in nasty headaches and there'd be no blanket under my legs) although it allows it to be unplugged and washed - I haven't tried that yet though. It's got those hideously annoying strings to 'tie' it onto the mattress. First off, I can't lift the mattress and secondly, when somebody tied it on for me, it didn't stay put at all. It says it's vital to have it tied onto the mattress but I don't bother (not sure what the safety issue is about so I am not suggesting people ignore it). On really cold nights, the hottest temp doesn't always feel hot enough (it probably is, I'm just a reptile), but it's perfect for tummy aches, backaches and general hibernation.

It's a shame I've only had it three years - had I known there was a plastic port in the way and strings to tie it onto the bed, I wouldn't have bought it. Be aware that when you buy this item, it is usually in sealed packaging and cannot be returned once opened, unless faulty.

I bought one of these just before xmas. Best thing ive ever bought. Got mine under a fitted sheet and i love it. Has 3 heat settings, warms up quick, washable. Well worth the money xx
