I have this mattress, I now go to bed earlier it is so comfortable.

The Geltex layer was slightly warmer than I was used to (normal bag of springs type) but only slightly.

in comparison to other pocket spring mattresses I have tested, I found that you can feel the person moving on the other side which I think is a consequence of the topper. it's not as bad as a bag of springs mattress but it is noticeable.

ordered earlier this morning after seeing the costco deals posted yesterday, the matching headboard is also reduced

The mattress can be had for £499 (king), not sure if the divan is worth £300; based on the reviews. Find a good divan for £200 or less, add the mattress and you'll have a very good bed for £100 cheaper than this deal.

Where can u get the mattress for £499 please?

Personally I'd go for a Hypnos Natural Mattress and a Kaydian bedstead from an online retailer. A little bit more expensivebut a much better product.

Not in my view. The Hypnos wasn't comfy for me. Each to their own I guess.

Bought a geltex divan online from Tesco a while ago... Very comfy, but I don't think my back gets the support it needs and has led to lower back pain over the last year. It's really difficult with beds to know what's right for your long term health =/

Go for a harder bed mate. These super soft beds are whats messing up peoples back. All the marketing hype in promoting gel crystals and foam this and that is so they can sell you their product. 10 years from now when you develop further back pain from their mattress they will sell you the next solution. Our ancestors slept on hard beds for millenniums, don’t let these companies fool you into thinking they know whats best. They only want your money.

Hypnos don't make gel and foam beds. Neither do Harrison beds up in Yorkshire. Plus I wouldn't sleep on a hard bed as they don't align to my back like Natural Collection beds do.

Always best to try and buy from a retailer for a bit more if need be ... Hard to know what a online bed will be like before it's in your room ... And you end up keeping due to return headache or difficult retailer.

The headboard isn't included, so add another 200-300 quid.

This isn't a great deal, especially for a silentnight product. They are generally rubbish, and at this price range you're better getting an entry level hypnos mattress. The Premier Inn Hypnos mattress is raved about - I have one and it's very good.

I have this mattress. Outstanding. As already mentioned just get your own divan

Mattress lasted less then 4 years before the topper has sunk where we sleep.

Ps. We're talking 14st and 12st adults.

I was going to buy a premier Inn Hypnos till I tried a geltex mattress on the high street. I found it better than Hypnos, bought it for £500 couple years ago and my back pain has disappeared. Best purchase ever and deffo not rubbish.

thanks for this input. I am so torn between this and the Hypnos Premier Inn one. Leaning towards this Geltex one, and the delivery times seem better.

This is a strange question... but... Can you send the mattress back if you don't like it 🤔

Hmmmm how strange...

I bought one of these from Costco and I find it a bit too soft for me to be honest.

The problem with a topper mattress is that you cannot turn them over. Get a turntable mattress and if you can stretch to say a pocket spring Hypnos, Somnus or Harrison bed then you will see the quality. For a bit more you will get much more durability, quality and a longer guarantee to boot. As for online retailers, many have showrooms and places like my next mattress in Leicester provide great independent advice

Actually it's a trade product, which as the name suggests, is not mass market.

They use the same product across all their hotels. If you want to go for a retail product go ahead, but the price is higher for pretty much the same product, given it's got a retail mark up. ]

This is the retail equivalent of the premier inn product, about 50% more expensive albeit with a higher spec (more springs):

costco have a customer service guarantee we bought our bed from them in January and had an awful time with it, not this bed. Just called them and they have created a refund, can’t say fairer than that.

There are very few beds in the market now that don’t turn, even ones without toppers. You are talking about thousands for a turntable bed in many cases.
