This is from their listing on ebay:

UK-Bedding is Silentnights preferred reseller of its Pillows, Mattress Toppers, Duvets, Bedding and selected memory foam products. We also occasionally offer other Silentnight products at discounted rates when they become available. In addition to the Silentnight brand we also offer Soundasleep products and Jeff Banks Ports of Call.

We are linked to UK manufacturers who have been serving Silentnight for many years.

We are a family run business, established for over forty years.

Remember that if you are replacing your old feather pillows that you can compost the feathers..... just in case anyone was interested.

Some interesting neutral or poor seller revies to be read for those concerned with this sort of thing.

Some of the reviews on amazon say there's not enough feathers in them so they'll go a bit flat!

I read quite a few undistinguished Reports and Reviews on this company

I would probably have taken up this pretty good offer, but for the seller.

Looks like they won't sell to Northern Ireland, pity as I would have went for 8.

Wilko in a Silent Night Bag, how do they get away with that **** and still trade lol!

Local sweet shop did this with 'Wonka' chocolate bars, using tesco value and they were fined **** loads.

anyone recommend me a good quality duvet at a reasonable price?

Bought a duvet and pair of pillows from them last week. They were in Silentnight bags and were factory sealed but had Wilko labels on them. H,.H,..How,. .. ,Why?

Wilko labels on the bags or Wilko labels actually stitched to the fabric of the duvet/pillows themselves?

I'm glad somebody hasn't come in (so far anyway) to torpedo this deal with an inflammatory video link to try to put people off like they did with my feather down duvet deal last week.

Stitched to the fabric even though wrapping bags were Silentnight and sealed. Read the feedback on them, looks like lots of other people received Wilko's in Silentnight bags too.

8 pillows !! I might have 8 heads to sleep on them. Voted HOT btw..

Presumably the reason they are being sold cheap (on ebay) is because the QC department realised that they had supplied the wrong/right pillows in the right/wrong bags and decided not to sell at full price. If the quality is good does it matter if they are for Wilkos? If the quality is poor does it matter if they have a Silentnight label on the packaging?
Edited by: "Alfie!" 15th Nov 2013

Actually in response to my own comment above - it does matter if they are selling them as "Silentnight" pillows and they are not, as it is misleading. I still suspect that one factory may provide Silentnight and Wilko with the same product labelled differently though.

Surely, If it was just a case of a cock-up at the factory and the wrong branded bags had been used then wouldn't it be more cost effective for them to have been re-worked and simply put back through the process with the right bags being put on instead of losing out a whole load of revenue? Dunno, it does appear to be a bit suspect, I agree with suggii.

You may be right and maybe some factory messed things up. I do not know whether the seller knows it or not. What I am trying to say is, you may not get what you paid for (or what you though). So buy at your own risks

They're probably the same pillows manufactured for both brands anyway, silentnight are hardly a premium brand anymore.

Uk-bedding has history of 'mistakes'. Every one of the 2,016 online buyers of this item received a cheap and inferior substitute:
cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/…919

The seller, uk-bedding knowingly sent out the wrong item. Read some of the HUKD comments about it here:

Some of their negative feedback here:

uk-bedding is an unethical company and their ebay ads should be banned on hukd.

Yes, they certainly don't appear to be a trustworthy company to deal with.

What I find quite alarming is the sheer amount of these things that they've sold in one day. I checked them earlier and a lot of people were buying them in multiples of 8 and a few were even doubling up on those 8's. We're less than half an hour into the 16th Nov and 17 more people have purchased since midnight alone. I know being placed on here generates some extra business, but these numbers seem a bit fishy to me.

I had a feeling they wouldn't be great after reading some of the reviews and also a couple of the comments on here. That's why I steered clear of them, glad I did now. They even had the cheek to increase the price on them too. They've managed to sell tons of them though, even at the increased price.
