50G TIN

Silicone Grease, formulated with polydimethylsiloxane and inert silica filler. It is used in a variety of applications that require a wide range of thermal stability, high dielectric strength, electrical insulation, inertness to rubber and plastic surfaces, and insulation against corrosion and moisture.

Silicone Grease is inert to virtually all substrates with the exception of silicone rubber. Silicone greases are very durable and may be used to lubricate rubber, plastic and metal to rubber or plastic interfaces. They provide excellent protection against moisture and other harsh environmental conditions and high voltage insulation

Silicone-based lubricants are often used by consumers in applications where other common consumer lubricants, such as petroleum jelly, would damage certain products, such as latex rubber and gaskets on dry-suits. It can be used to lubricate fountain pen filling mechanisms and threads. It is used to seal and preserve O-rings in flashlights, plumbing, waterproof watches, and air rifles. Silicone grease is widely used to lubricate threads of water submersible flashlights used for diving and spearfishing. This grease improves water resistance of the flashlights and protects threads from wearing out. Silicone grease is used with waterproof devices as it has a very thick body and doesn't dissolve in water, as most spirits and other liquids would. Silicone-based lubricants are also commonly used for remote control hobbies, or for the insulation of CPU sockets when overclocking at very low temperatures.

Various household uses include lubricating door hinges, shower heads, threads on bolts, garden hose threads or any thread or mechanism that can be lubricated.

I have been waiting for this to drop in price so much, this hardly ever seems to go cheap, but this is a brilliant price, I'd happily pay a penny more for this.

Good alternative to vaseline?
Is it good as a lube substitute??
Original listing is sold out but just search for "50g silicon grease" and there are other sellers at the same price with stock. Thanks OP.
OOS
Thanks OP. Got couple of taps to ease so you’ve prompted me to act. Just ordered some Black Swan silicone grease!
Came into this thread expecting a certain level of discussion...as always, not disappointed

How the flying fig is £2.99 for 50g a hot deal, when you can get 3000g (yes, a whole 3KG!) for just £54.99 delivered? Link: ebay.co.uk/itm…003

Yes, that's 60 times as much lube and equates to just 92p for 50g - making this deal seem rather expensive!

Is the deal for 60 times more like a two for one offer?
You use one gram & the rest gets thrown out when you die in 60 years?
