Tesco has knocked 28% off a case of 6 75cl bottles of Silver Bay Point Rose wine. If you order 4 cases (24 bottles) and use the code XXHYYF then it knocks £10 off the £56.88 total to reduce it to £46.88 for 24 bottles, that's under £2 a bottle.

If you choose the standard next day delivery then it doesn't add the £5 delivery charge to your total, you get free delivery.

You can also get XBox 360's for £95 a pop if you order 24 of them..

Little misrepresentative, buddy..

I've just ordered 24 bottles for a party in a few weeks.

I missed the timeslot for next day delivery though so they're delivering friday.

It's not £1.90 a bottle, it's £46.28 for 24.

Silver Bay is probably the worst wine I have ever tasted, it is absolutely rank! Don't waste your money. 8% and made from imported grape juice, it shouldn't even be called wine IMO.
Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

I've had it before and I liked it.

8%, don't think I will bother.

A British wine at 8% ABV IMHO is still over-priced at £1.90. Voucher is probably also user specific too. There are some terrific deals on Tesco wines at the moment with £5 and £10 vouchers floating around and free delivery currently plus minimum order is now 6 bottles not 12 but sadly this wine isn't one of them!

the worst wine I have ever tasted in my whole entire life.

No it's not, anyone can use it.

Thanks Op. I've bought this in bulk before for parties but never this cheaply!

Thanks. I used the voucher code to order a better wine that was reduced down to £2.85 a bottle. If you order 24 bottles, less the £10 discount it works out as £2.43 for 11.5% red wine and also 11% / 13% rose wine.

I selected premier delivery and picked my delivery slot, which did say £6.25 but it went through as free, so very happy.

Thank you for the voucher code.

Sorry, there seems to be a problem
Sorry, this ecoupon cannot be accepted, as it has already been used the maximum number of times. Ref: 50071

I rest my case, no pun intended!

If you have used the voucher before then it comes up with this error as it can only be used once per email login.....try another email address if you have one.

I think this is awful, took a couple of bottles back to store for a refund cos it was that bad! Having said that each to there own I guess.

oO I have to agree strongly with your statement......I bought a bottle to try...oh dear....not nice IMO also, had to use it up in a casserole as that was all it was fit for. Would not recommend i'm afraid.

i have had it before, it is awful.
sorry, if you "like" this then i would have to assume that you know very little about wine.
i bought it as i was attracted by the price, did not read the label on the back, and made an association in my head the "silver bay" came from the southern hemisphere.
how wrong one was

RANCID. Sorry

I'd concur with all the negative sentiment towards Silver Point red. I had the misfortune to sample some and recommended it was returned for a refund.

Having said that, you can of course use the voucher and free delivery offer on other wines - that is exactly what I did and picked up drinkable wines for ~ £2.54 a bottle (3 x 6 cases) with free delivery.

If you go for the JP Chenet blends you can bag 18 bottles for £2.29 a bottle (18) with free delivery.

How do you get free delivery? I get charged for delivery unless the order is over £99...
