Priced at £525, with 10% off using their baby code BABYPCC10 = £472.50. I've gone via Quidco and used discount code DAD10, which gives 10% off site wide plus hopefully cashback of up to 8%. Also subject to Advantage points, doubled in the 'parenting club', but don't know how valuable 5k points will be yet.

Obviously won't appeal to everyone, but hopefully it'll help someone else out there in HUKD-land.

If voting cold please explain, or at least show where it's cheaper.

I could never spend so much on a pram, It's very expensive you can buy something under £100 that does the same job

Looks ugly cold

What r u taking about, what do you mean poor. You have to be stupid to spend this kind of money on a pram

This is actually the middle tier on price. iCandy and higher end ones can be £900+

my pram was £800+ so I must be twice as stupid pushchairs that cost less might do the same job (in my experience they don't though) but if someone wants to pay for a certain design that doesn't make them stupid. Heat added op.

I'm not trying to be awkward or funny, but what's so special about this pram? What are the features and why is this brand so expensive because I feel a pram under £100 does the same thing.

Genuine question

Can you please post the sub £100 options? Can't see any that are suitable for a newborn.

@keebb9 - is that what you meant?

I'm not poor, but I wouldn't spend this on a pushchair either. I got a mountain buggy that was half price and an extra 20% off, but the little pushchair hater prefers the £20 stretchy wrap!

Have a look at the current Cosatto Giggle 2 offers with car seat for £405 from pram centre and a few other online companies if you want a higher end than a £200 one.

If you can't spend nearly £500 on a pram it means you're poor? I see.
Cold because it's nearly £500 for a pram.

Atleast someone understands

To be fair, some people require certain things from their pram, can be name can be lightweight or how small it folds. As long as it is cheapest you can find for the particular one, then it's a deal. not going to be suitable for everyone but may well help someone. plus from experience , these named ones tend to retain their values more than others. Sobsecond
It's like comparing a BMW to a Nissan. Do they do the same thing? Yes. Are they the same thing , hmm No! And spending more does not necessarily mean you're stupid.

It's a pram not a car.

It doesn't, doesn't parent face for a start. Try again some mums aren't fussed about the pushchair but other mums are and are willing to pay, most will use their pushchair everyday so why not pay for something that you like the look of

This is a silver cross, not some dodgy cheapo. My pram is as important as my car... My baby sleeps, moves and spends a fair bit of time in it. I spent more than this for one that did why I needed it to do and fitted in my very economical compact car. It's priorities, some people don't feel they need an expensive pram- fair enough. But those of us who spent the cash for something better probably don't regret it! It's a deal if you are looking for this pram! Heat OP :-)

It still doesn't make it a hot deal...

Yes I agree with you, many parents (not all) buy an expensive pram for their child and once they've used it they sell it for peanuts.

£472.50 is taking the biscuit lol

Looking at the pictures it looks like a normal pram, many people may say it's a brand, it's lightweight etc. But you can buy a similar pushchair for under £200 which does the same thing or may be even better.

Sorry, I thought the idea of the website was to share deals with like minded people. If someone on the site was looking for this pram then they'd be looking at 10%, but possibly 18% off the usual bottom price. I'd call that a reasonable saving. If you are looking for a budget pram then obviously it won't appeal.

Are deals of only budget end of the market, smart price items allowed now?

Bought this pram only 4 weeks ago from the silver cross outlet on ebay and I paid £440 and the chassis wasn't brand new. Good find for those people looking for this specific pram like I was. Cheapest I found it brand new was for £650 with the carseat included in a shop in derbyshire so I see this as a good deal. Cant wait to use it now

You've shared the deal. People that think it's hot vote hot, people that think it's not vote cold, others don't vote at all. That's the whole point of the website.

That pram would only be ok for nicely laid streets. The Silvercross Pioneer has all-terrain wheels which some people need. Plus that is a stroller rather than a travel system - you can't have a carrycot or car seat on a stroller. Both useful under different circumstances.
