Ok, here's the deal:

Boots currently have the Silver Cross Ventura Car Seat in Cargo for £71.99 which is a good price anyway (if not a hot deal in itself).

If you add £8.01 of stuff, you get 15% off the whole order which makes is cheaper than if you didn't add the £8 worth of goods (order now about £70).

Now, if you add Promotional code 'SJMA36', this takes a further £10 off, equalling about £60.

There is also the chance of 3.5% QuidCo and obviously the standard Boots cards points.

So, for less than £60, you can get the car seat and £8 worth of stuff. Combine it with some BOGOFs to really maximise the value.

It isn't just the car seat that can work out at great value, there's load of stuff that is on sale and if you spend over £80 you get an additional 15% off, and then the £10 voucher.

Hurry though, the extra 15% off ends on the 6th!!

Excellent deal, good spot, voted hot.

Just got two toothbrushes down from £110 to £80 with this, fantastic spot.

The Maxi Cosi Cabriofix is the better buy and same sort of price £58.74 using £10 off code LYDM75, it comes top in the Which crash test, you can get the Isofix base for it from Kiddicare for £60

But what pram chassis does that fit onto?

I would put safety over style anyday

Original Poster

Yes but it's not like the Silver Cross ones are unsafe

How do you know ?, yes they meet minimum standards but there is a vast difference when they are subjected to higher crash tests by Which

As with everything, but I'm not going to buy everything that Which says is best

Assuming you use it correctly (which can depend on how easy it is to use correctly), it fits your car, how safe you drive, what car you drive, how often you drive etc etc.
