Signed up go the voucher, but the minimum spend, less the discount is £15, so your original item must be £25 or more, according to the basket.....I tried to order some £20 earrings and therefore couldn't use the voucher.

Well I assume they give the same amount to charity whether payment comes in the form of a voucher or cash, it's only the same as someone using a gift voucher to buy something really

Well no, it's not the same as using a gift voucher, since a gift voucher has been paid for, so the company has received the income for it. The earrings are £15, 20% of which (£3) is donated to the charity. But using the voucher code, the company are only charging £5 for the earrings. They clearly cost more than £2 to make, so I doubt they can then afford to give the £3 to charity. And if they do, you have ripped off a small business. Not very nice.

I got the £10 of a £15 spend yesterday, wonder if they have changed it?

In the email it says at the bottom I need to spend £15?

My email says I need to spend £25.00, they must have found the glitch!

So if your e-mail says you need to spend £15 can you insist on that, or now that they've realised their mistake and changed it to £25 does that now apply?

I have emailed to ask why the minimum is now £25, surely they have to honour what the email says?

there is a thread on this offer on mse and the owner of hi ho silver has posted several times he says the reason for the sudden increase is due to them being a small buisness and they had to act quick to avoid going bust as had lots more orders than anticiplated after this was posted on there!

Im not surprised at all to hear this, I do feel heart sorry for small businesses that do a good thing, then get flooded by thousands from sites like this. Anyone can see that it's not fair.

Oh I see, feel a bit bad now didn't realise it was only a small business.

How small is a small business?

I received my order today and am pleased but they also sent a catalogue which at the back shows them as having 16 shops, so not exactly small in my mind.

They also do 50 shows a year.
