This is much better than sugar, no chemical aftertaste like with other sweeteners and calorie free! Also you only have to use a small amount (1/3rd) to get the same sweetness as normal sugar.

Info:

Calorie-free sweetener from the stevia leaf

Sweetness from a leaf

Suitable for people with diabetes

Suitable for vegetarians

Steviol glycosides based granular table top sweetener.

Stevia leaves are steeped in water similar to making tea. This unlocks the best tasting part of the leaf, which is purified to provide a calorie-free sweet taste.

Truvia® is proud of our strong environmental and social sustainability goals for bringing stevia from field to table.

I bought truvia recently, it tastes horrible.

great for diabetics!

Tesco own brand (and Canderal Stevia when on offer) work out cheaper, serving for serving.

Pure Stevia powder is very sweet and fine like icing sugar.... and you only need a miniscule amount to sweeten and has zero calories
Unfortunately....it does have an after taste....which I don't mind...but it can put people off using it

So I was just wondering what chemicals/chemical process is combined with Stevia in Truvia to make it look like faux sugar oO
