I bought a similar one from Aldi years ago and it worked for 2 years. That had bluetooth audio streaming. It really was great for 50 quid and they gave me a new one when it broke. This one will be equally as good. I have a new car now so I need a new one, I will definitely be getting one of these.

So does the external bluetooth connection mean you can stream media from a phone through the cars speakers?

Need a cheap Car radio to pass me by, with some kind of bluetooth support. This seems cheap and reasonable, 3 years warranty seems decent? What would you recommend otherwise then? For £45?!

Tacky brand

It wouldn't surprise me if the internals of this were the same as some other "upper market" brand - Hot from me!

Get anything, but NOT Sony, Kenwood or even Pioneer these days, sound quality is just awful... Well if your budget £40... Not much can recommend anyway.

It would me.

I've not long ago bought a JVC BT/CD head unit for the missus (...741BT), £75 it was, and was the cheapest unit I could find with BT that also had a CD player. Granted this one is cheaper (quite a bit cheaper), but I'm hoping that having a branded unit will make it more reliable. Sound quality is not an issue as it's only for the missus.
Of course, I'm looking at upgrading my car... do i gamble on this or not? argh..

I still have a Silvercrest DVD player (suits my needs for playing music via stick or DTS DVD), but when I bought it, it was so much cheaper than the bigger brands.........but why on earth would you pay 50 quid for a Silvercrest car stereo when Halfords are selling Pioneer and installation for the same price? People, this is not a hot deal oO

Can you show me the deal for a Pioneer stereo with the same spec, installed, for the same price?

Are there cars still on the road with DIN spaces? Anything I've seen over the last 10 years or so has custom built-in ICE.

Anyone know if it has a Steering wheel connection?

Hmmmm still debating, have a road trip coming up soon, need something to replace what i had, anything that plays music and has BT right now will do How bad can this really be?

looks good to me voted hot
