Nice price have some sun....
Does this sound like a toilet? Or has it any power?
Nice price but worth pointing out it doesn't get Radio 4 or Classic FM.

Battery life on them?

Battery life on them?

No Idea.

Comes with 9V/1A power supply which means it can't use more than 9W of constant draw.

In this case 6x rechargeables like Ikea Ladda should give up to 2.5h on max volume.
On medium probably 5-6h

Is it a norm for "other" to have DC in with mains adapter? And no USB power socket?

Surely it just needs to be able to get radio 1 or Kiss.

I think this version also gets LBC and Heart.
Shame about the battery situation, won’t be rushing to Lidl tomorrow to grab one then
Hope parkside come out with one in the future that uses their 20v batteries
Decent nimh cells aren't cheap so looking at about £17 of batteries. Even then you don't get a decent run time. So yeah, agreed a version that uses parkside powertool batteries could be better.
No on site power ! Get a 9 Volt regulator (about 50p) ,a jack plug and a couple of crocodile clips and run it from a car or motorbike battery. Will probably run for a week or more before requiring a charge.
Yeh shame about the batteries or I would have bought one!

They’ve probably not had the delivery yet - I’ve found this a couple of times normally the following day or two when they get in store after allegedly being available.

I’ve had to ask for stuff before, they had it all sat out the back on a pallet
1 x 5w.....which site are you working, one where everyone's gone home..... 5watts indeed 😄😄
And Aldi doing same spec £29.99
If anyone has one of these can you tell me how the DAB presets work? I have set then up easily enough but cannot work out to access them!
