I got one of these in aldi for a fiver. Not too bad. Forget to put it on most of the time though.
I had one but it got nicked !
Average cost of running an LCD tv for a year is £29 so it might actually be better off leaving the TV on instead of buying this!

Surprised that there isn't a smart one of these actually.
Having sound surely would help as a deterrent as well
Can these be used with a timer socket so if you go away for 2 weeks you can have it coming on for a few hours a night at different times?
I dint think you got a "TV Twitter" on LED TV's

I use mine with a timer and it works fine.
Do you need a TV license?

you could get a smart timer plug
I've managed to mod mine and now get free sky and all other movie channels. plus 3d etc. works a treat but the sound quality isn't all that.

Cold - these are cheaper @ CPC....
Also with this costing £7.99 + running costs, you might save all of £15~£20 using this instead of your LCD/LED TV over the year!

So if you save £15 over a year, you could buy two and effectively get them free? :-)

When was that please?, &/or was that the regular price for it?, or was it a 'reduced' item, etc?, thanx. :-)

Was the regular price. Got it about 3 months back. But I've seen them back in there since.
