Great price on a waffle maker that has very positive reviews online.

Seems like a decent price but would not use it as it is limited to just waffles. Prefer the ones where you can change the plates and do snadwiches, etc.

Did you use baking powder?

I have the powdered yeast I use with my beloved breadmaker and wonder if this could be used instead?

Thanks! I don’t need 20 waffles so will use half as many of everything! Looks a pretty simple recipe. Hope they taste good!
The waffles are quite small as you make 5 at a time and the machine isn't that big. We actually had quite a lot of mixture left even after making 20 - probably half of the total. We didn't put as much in as it says though (3 tablespoons is a lot for each waffle).

I would say as a test run try:
1 egg
50g butter
40g sugar
100g flour
1g baking powder
80ml milk
(some vanilla sugar, we actually skipped this and put a tiny bit of vanilla essence in instead)

That will definitely do one or even two lots of 5.
Oh, and they tasted pretty good. I'm not much of a fan of waffles but the kids loved them.
They have the salter pie maker for the same price, had this in my trolley then changed it for the salter, pie maker is £50 everywhere else

Not so waffle-ly versatile...
The waffles in the box picture are stunt waffles! They don't fill the base of this maker but have finished edges so can't have been made on it!
I've got one though and it does work very well.
I have one of these, we use it every weekend without fail, and it is good for both sweet and savoury recipes. It was completely a best buy!

Looks more like you make 1 at a time, but that it's divided into 5 bit size sections
