to be honest if you have an sds drill you really should know not to go for silverline.

They are ok if they are only going to be used a couple of times for little bit of DIY.

This set is suprisingly good. I have taken plaster/ bonding coat off a whole house with the fat chisel bit, the whole kitchen and bathroom too and its still going strong. Not to mention a chimney and a wall too

Another thing to mention though, have loads of SDS grease or WD40 to keep the bits well oiled

- otherwise they will rust!

Perfect for home/jobbing. The range of bits covers just about every use you could ever need, and for this price a bargain. A single Bosch chisel can cost more than the whole kit, so even if they don't last long you are guaranteed to get your money's worth.

The strength of SDS is in the tool, not the bit, I have broken my share of both cheap and expensive bits in the past.

Screwfix sell this for £21.99

Case will come in handy for me - if anything does break I can replace them.
For ten english pounds I'm happy to try - Reviews on Amazon pretty good too

they are very cheap brand not to be used for regular use .bits will chip off

Are they any better than the Bosch drill bits?

I bought this set about 6 months ago to use with GMC SDS drill (Very well reviewed drill).

This is the only set I've used and it's had some serious abuse. No snapping, chips, breaks. Done everything I'v asked. The 6mm drill bit has got a bit bent but that was because we were drilling a concrete floor with rebar in it.

For £10 these are a bargain
