Oh no!

The knife snobs are circling.

I personally have used one for over ten years with no complaints on the same set of knives.
This thing again! Good price, takes too much steel off to use on your good kni

Thanks for the advice. What do you recommend please?

I find that the suction works fine, as long as it is clean (not saying anything about Waitrose work surfaces )

We use that at work in Waitrose. I got to say its not very well designed, the suction does stick onto the worktop but if you use slight force, the spring inside falls apart. And breaks easily. Wouldn't buy it personally.

£4.20 for me and a minimum order quantity of three?
I got one of these a few months ago and love it. Puts a decent edge on my kitchen knives.
I have one too. Love it. I don't have ridiculously priced knives, if I did I may be more wary. But makes my knives sharp every time. Bargain.
Sharpens well, but took a load of steel of our knifes...great for your cheaper blades though... Looked at edge through loup and very ragged... But heyho..... knifes a whole lot sharper than before.

Yip me too and I got mine free!
Best knife sharpener I have ever used.
Any way of getting just one not the three minimum?
I bought one of these a few years back. It was good for sharpening very, very blunt knives, but as someone else said, for general sharpening it takes way too much material off your knife. Your much better off with one of the twin wheel wet draw through sharpeners. As well as that, the suction unit broke so I can no longer stick it to my work surface. Conclusion, good for very knackered/blunt knives, but other than that, not great!
I bought one of these from amazon a while back and it turned out to be fake (confirmed by manufacturer).
This deal is £12.57 for 3. You can't buy 1 for £4.19.
Minimum 3 unfortunately

Then you are using too much pressure, you draw the knife across, and it's not a commercial product. Had mine for years, no issues.
I want 1 but not 3
It's OK for average knives. Sharpens them fast and well.
I wouldn't want to use it on a top quality knife but not many people own knives costing £50+ each.
Definitely not something I'd use on my nice knives (zelite), but something I regularly use on my c**p knives. I give them a quick run with a sharpening steel first, as otherwise you're going to take off way more than you need to.

It’s strange, I get it often on this site, and an edit doesn’t fix it

It depends upon the knives. I’ll use this happily on the cheap knives, personally I use a minosharp on the good knives. There are better solutions available, but more time consu
